I wanted to listen to a calming meditation because I’m going to the dentist in a while to get a root canal done.
Settling in my chair, I went inward to reach my breath.
Because I wanted to experience relaxation but remain alert and energized at the same time, I began doing a wonderful breath technique I learned recently called the ujjayi breath. After taking some time to get comfortable with this breathwork, I visualized myself underneath a shower head with the crown of my head open up. Instead of water flowing out of the shower head, it was calmness and peace sprinkling out. Standing underneath this shower head, I became showered with these wonderful feelings from the top of my head to the tips of my toes.
Being showered, my body became filled with tingling sensations. I am thankful for taking this time to give myself self care. I am thankful for this new day. I am thankful for this meditation created by Irene.
