Meditation for overthinkers
Waiting to hear how something turns out? This meditation is for the fear of not knowing what comes next. The mind fills the gap with one ending after another, because it cares. You cannot steady the tide by grabbing hold of it, so we sit on a quiet beach and let the days come and go like weather. A worry arrives like a wave. You watch it come in, and you watch it go back out. Then one quiet question: who is doing the watching? The thoughts come and go, and the watcher stays. Three wishes to finish. Soft music underneath. Sitting or lying down, both fine.
