Coming Home
Life is a series of moments. Moments that are constantly changing. The quality of attention and action that we bring to each moment determines the quality of our lives. Incorporating a daily mindfulness practice into our life to bring our mind back home is our anchor to raising our quality of life to a better one. Settling into a comfortable sitting position outside, I begin this session with a diaphragmatic breathing technique along with checking in with my body. I am feeling a lot of tension in my shoulders and lower back. As I acknowledge this area, I can feel the tension easing out. You can also gently massage the area to show it loving kindness. As I continue to just focus on my breathing, I am feeling my body relax almost going into a trance state. My mind is still. I am feeling grounded. I am home.
