The bus
I learned that I get more from my mindfulness sessions when I close my eyes - today I tried it with my eyes open but got distracted by the other passengers on the bus.

Tension
I learned that I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and lower back and that’s where all my stress accumulates. Taking breathes to and from these areas helped give the illusion I was slowly unwinding and didn’t feel as bad

Letting Go & Moving On
Focus on where the tension is and breathing into it. Life is going to throw lots at us and it’s important that in those moments we breathe. After doing this (focused on neck tension) my neck does feel better. I’ll be trying this more often

Breathing is really key
I believe that in any circumstance and situation, deep breathing truly helps relieve me of anxiety, stress, worry, and tension. It helps me relax when my mind is all over the place, running from one thought to the next. Even after 3-4 minutes of mindful breathing, I truly see a difference.

Isolate Tension
I found this to be an excellent session for isolating an area of tension and addressing it. Overall, I am a very relaxed person, but do have areas of tension from time to time. This morning my neck seemed particularly tense. This exercise worked well helping relieve the tension. I saved this meditation and I’m certain I will use it frequently. Thank you.

Breathing
Breathing is your friend. While mediating and breathing, you should notice the tension in your body when you breathe in and release all of that tension when you breathe out. Doing that can really make a big difference. I noticed the difference and I’ll be doing it more often.

Breath into the Tension
I can feel the tense spots when I’m laying flat, breath into that area, then focus to release the tension there. I’m looking forward to trying it seated at work or when I stand up after a lengthy session at my desk and start walking. Namaste

Pain
I need to let go of things because they will eventually happen when they have to with whom they have to. Pain always ends up going away and by focusing on it I’m just making myself suffer. Also, I need to think what’s best for me regardless of what others have to say.

Tension
I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and in my jaw. Oftentimes, I notice myself clenching my teeth, which sometimes gives me a headache. Making a conscious effort to relax and breathe through this tension during the day will help relieve my pain.

Feedback
Breathing was nice but couldn’t get the ‘breathe into tension’ to be impactful. Still have the ache in temples though. Can’t tell if I’m too smart or too stupid to ever have that work.

Choose to let go of worry
Worry is like a prayer that bad things might happen. Positivity is like a prayer that good things can happen. I have a choice. Worry is wasteful energy. Instead, use your energy to make good things happen. Send positivity out into the universe and it will be returned in life.

An added benefit
My tension is usually in my shoulders and neck, sometimes to the point of being painful. This meditation is wonderful for focusing the breath on these points of tension. By also lowering my chin to my chest and relaxing, I know that relief is almost guaranteed. 🙏

Breathe into tension
I realized how distracted my mind is tonight. I was so lost in thoughts about tomorrow that I didn’t even become aware that I was disengaged from the meditation until it ended and all I heard was silence. Awareness here is key, even if it seems to be too late.

Tension
When our bodies have tension sometimes we tense up areas surrounding the original tense area, compounding the issue. This makes sense symbolically too.

This morning
I learned that I need to allow myself to send the tension somewhere. A lot of the time I hold onto it and it manifests in my body and causes pain and tightness. I need to remember to breathe and let it go. Letting go is something that I struggle with. I am feeling a bit better after this but I know it’s going to take a while before I can feel happy and not stressed again. It’s a process.

Guidance
I learned that what helps me a lot with these meditations is the guidance — I try to do them on my own and they work fine, but they work so much better for me when I have a coach to guide me through them. My coaches relax me, make me feel like I’m not alone.

Too much tension
Every breathe I feel a worry, stressful thoughts, me weakening. Trying to stay calm helps but a smile on my face but the heat of anger gets bottled up for later. I can’t breathe the heat away, talking about it isn’t helping either but something has to work. I just need to keep trying to find it.

Breathing into tension practice
I noticed that when I would breathe into one specific are of tension it almost seemed to compound the tension but if I broadened my focus to just breathing into the body as a whole I could release tension from all areas together and feel more relaxed.

Tension with anxiety
My anxiety is slowly lifting, I’m starting to have better days. I woke up feeling like I had to search in my brain for the stress to bring it back. This exercise made me realize I hold a lot in my back and shoulders. They hurt! I couldn’t get the back tension to improve 🙁

Tension
I tend to tense my jaw when I’m anxious. Often I’m not even aware of it until I bring attention to it as this meditation did. I’ll try to be more aware of this throughout the day and release tension through breathing when I notice it.

I liked a lot of the things she was saying. But for some reason her voice was distracting to me. Just personal preference I don’t know why. This is also my first seven minute practice so I don’t know if that played any factor and I tired of her voice sooner I can’t really say. I’ll have to note if her voice comes up again and I feel the same way or if it was just this practice.

HOLY CRIPES! 😱😱😱So much for relaxation before bedtime! My heart is absolutely racing!

Breathing into tension
I learned That if you focus on sending your breath to arias of your body where there is tension , you can release the tension in these areas. When I was doing this practice, I visualized my breath coming in and out from my neck and the place between my shoulder blades. These locations on my body are usually very tight. Afterword, my neck and shoulders felt much better, less tight, and more relaxed. I frequently carry tension in multiple parts of my body, so, I fully intend to use the skills I learned in this practice to relieve this tension in the future. Thank you to those who work for this app for putting this track together , and for teaching me how to deal with physical tension. This was very helpful. Thank you to the community on this app for taking the time to read this post. I hope you are all OK, happy, and well.
