Refocus your Thinking
By focusing on your breathe in your back instead of your chest or belly, your mind changes conventional thinking. In doing so, I found that my mind was becoming clear and calm and my back was becoming relaxed.

Taking a step back
Life sends us through a crazy roller coaster ride and we focus on having fun, our jobs, making ends meet, our relationships and we forget to look back at all we’ve been through. I can take a small step back, validate my feelings through meditation and journaling. Then, I’m more prepared for what lies ahead. It feels good to shift perspective and to practice self control. Be genuine

Good opening
Breathing into different areas of the body can open up new channels of thought. New channels open new ways of thinking creatively and intuitively.

Perspective
This meditation helps to change the perspective just a bit by focusing on the breath in the upper back. I suffer from chronic back pain due to scoliosis, a bulging disc, and intermittent nerve issues, and this meditation actually felt like a nice massage. It wasn’t simply about changing my perspective, but also about relieving some of the current tightness/pain in my back.

Changing...
In this session Carla helps us keep our focus on our upper back. How it feels with our breathe Coming into it. It was a shift in perspective which is what she wanted us to experience. I believe this to be very important in our lives. Always looking at something from our same perspective is limiting and often frustrating. The world is an ever changing mixture based on everyone’s thoughts and actions... and this mixture is constantly changing. If we try to apply our same thinking to every situation we will have times when we are spot on and other times that we are way off. These ‘off’ times cause us to have stress and anxiety because things are not going as we ‘think’ they should. In truth things are going/evolving exactly as they should, but we are stuck in our old thinking so they seem odd. Energy is constantly shifting & changing forms & thus our thinking must also or we will be left behind & feel things are wrong. The world is perfect and The only thing that can be wrong is our thinking or attitude. This session has taught me to be open to other perspectives than my normal way of thinking. I need to become more flexible and always be growing! For by Law... if I am not growing, I am dying. And that my friends is worth thinking about...

The Way We Think
Before I started to meditating I was never the one to think deeply or think about things before I said or did something; my thoughts were always very closed minded and shallow. After I started meditating I noticed that I thought about things before I said or did something. My thoughts are now very thoughtful and deep. Meditation really does change the way we think and for the better. It also makes us all better people

Connected….
Even though I am stressed I found that I could still connect, still tune in with her statements… and that gave me an area of ease, peace, and calm in the chaos buzzing around in the seas of my mind.
