Moon rainbows 🌈
When the moon is bright and positioned in the sky just so, it happens to hit my heart crystal hanging in the window and a gorgeous green/blue/purple light radiates from it. I believe This is how my heart looks when it reaches out to our planet earth (Gaia) and the beauty she holds. When I see the earth 🌏 in space this is how I see her - hang in the dark radiating love. I breathe and relax when I see it - so much beauty.

I carry tension everywhere! In the crease of my nose, behind my eyes, the soles of my feet and through my toes. My hips, lower back, abs and obliques, around my ears, neck, chest, arms, legs, jaw and through my tongue, my pelvic floor, shoulder blades. There’s so much in my body of which I’m unaware, and taking a moment to observe it, give it love, and let go of the daily stress picked up through my day. Ahhhh, much better

Rest and Relax
I learned that telling myself to relax makes me giggle. I loved the breathing but it was too fast - I was still breathing in as they were saying to breathe out! Once I did my own rhythm it was very good! I feel excellent because giggling reminds me not to take myself so seriously.

Today was a little tiring with the time change and work. Slowly getting better mood has decreased over the weekend. I need to regularly be taking my medicine. Going to bed later than I should’ve today was okay nonetheless. Jim the house manager spoke today at the house meeting it was really good. I relate when he talked about his old ways slipping in. Some of the things he described he went through I’m going through now I just haven’t talked about it like I should be. Tomorrow’s another day though

Concentrating on my breathing is usually very good for me but this time I needed more. My mind kept drifting and it was hard to bring it back, but the fact that I noticed should be a good thing and therefore is that enough for now?

I found this to be a very simple way of coming down..( note. I tried to write a very simple reflection but the app is stressing me out by asking me to write more...seems counter productive)

Distracted to the point of distraction!
The house, and especially my bedroom, are busy tonight, so I lost my attention for this session. Shame. I was hoping to get some help relaxing before bed.

Listening to someone just simply tell me to breathe in and out just does not help me relax. I try that on my own all the time. It does not work. I need other techniques ☹️

I learned that sometimes you just need to breathe in and out to be okay, and to try and fall sleep. But I also found this practice a little bit distracting because when the pauses came my thoughts just kept coming back.

Letting Go Easier and Falling Asleep Sensation
I use another meditation app called One Giant Mind and the mantra meditations there are 15 minutes. But this meditation on Aura is only 3 minutes and my mind already feels like what it is at the 13 minute mark in my other meditation app. I suppose simple meditations are better for me where the breath concentration is very relaxed without any counting of seconds or multi tasking in focusing different parts of the body.

I learned that by placing a hand on my stomach or chest and focusing on my breathing allows me to relax. I have never felt my entire body relax the way it did in this mediation.

I learned that sometimes during the day, we don’t realize how tense we are. This helped me to distinguish being tense from being relaxed. I will definitely try this out at the office.

the more talking there is in a session the less anxious i feel. but it isn’t for everybody. this still helped.

We know that one of the most important “ingredients” in a successful relationship is communication. And the best relationship you can have is your relationship to yourself. So it’s nice that I can communicate to myself and remind me to relax and take things slowly and easily. Relax, me, relax. It can be surprising how you listen to you.

Relaxing my stress
Breathing in, breathing out and relax, it did help to calm down stress that I wasn't even aware that I had until I sat down to do this 3 minute meditation. Since I suffer from anxiety in general, it's always a good reminder for me to breathe. However when I'm super stressed and I'm breathing it really doesn't call me down very much.

Jiva’s soothing voice guides you into a relaxing state by saying to yourself on the inhale “calm” and on the out breath “relax”. Saying this while engaging in a diaphragmatic breathing technique helped my body and mind to relax and just melt into the couch. This was very relaxing.😴 Just what I needed from being on the go all day.

This is great for releasing anxiety and slowing the mind down. It’s simple and effective—by focusing on the normal rhythm of breath, a reprieve is created, releasing anxious thoughts and tension in the body to bring a state of relaxation.

Reminding myself to relax with the out breath is immensely helpful since I have noticed I tend to hold onto my stress throughout the day. I will keep coming back to this meditation to get my more constant reminders to let go.

Calming...
Very simple but effective technique! Breathing in “Calm...” Breathing out “Relax...” My mind calmed down enough for me to observe each thought picture - like slowing down a motion picture projector enough to see each individual frame. Very cool thinking in slow motion. Then I watched each thought picture slowly drift away as I exhaled and relaxed my mental grip on it... Very surreal experience ... by the end I felt completely Calm & Relaxed so ... Mission Accomplished! Thanks Jiva for this cool tool!! ❤️😎🍀
