I accept myself, as I am, right now
Sometimes it's a difficult thing to say to myself. With this guided meditation and focusing on the cool air entering my nostrils, my breath easy, I felt a sense of compassion and love for myself. It was a great feeling. Thank you. ❤️🌷

Accepting yourself is hard. When i told myself that i accept me my heart felt like it was swelling. Self love is important. I loved how they incorporated that into this meditation.

As a teenager and young adult I had often wondered what does it mean to accept yourself. I, entitled to everything, thought of course I accept myself why wouldn’t I? As an adult I’ve realized what it FEELS to accept myself and the world around me. For me acceptance began in the freedom and empowerment of forgiveness. Forgiveness has allowed inner peace, clarity, and opened the door for joy... I love life!

Loved the meditation and focus on the nose. When asked where in my body I felt the acceptance I could not seem to localize it. Hmmm.

It’s okay
I learned that I hav a hard time concentrating and focus a lot on what happened in the past and can’t focus on now. But I will have to let go at some point and if I’m not ready it’s ok.

Having kids there are stresses and milestones and moms don’t get a chance to take that thought and time on themselves and taking this mediation made me realize that I never thought of myself in a while that I’m always wanting to help my kids and fix there problems and never take the time for myself. 3 minutes was perfect for me :)

I learned that only you can make that change to accept yourself by staying positive and loving yourself. Taking a moment to tell yourself it is okay to have flaws and that no one is perfect, really makes you feel like you can be accepted.

Breathing is so simple....
....yet so powerful. While at Hood college, class of 1994, I learned this Buddhist meditative technique from Dr. James Boston PhD. He, in turn, learn this technique from the Buddhist Masters in India, who’s technique was passed down from the Buddha himself to his followers over the last 2500 years. It is a simple breathing technique, yet, considering the fact that it been around for over 2000 years, there must be some truth to it.

Even sickness can be eased with meditation
Focusing on the nose is somewhat helpful when you are sick. But only somewhat. Probably needed a different meditation.

The meditation was good; her voice, the content and pace. However there were unusual small noises in the recording. Perhaps some type of feedback, but they were distracting. If the recording was cleaned up it would be absolutely perfect.

Accepting myself as I am right now, to the place I have lead myself, has been a challenge. This sent love and positive energy surging up my spine and flowing from my heart and my chest to wrap around my shoulders and head. An amazing feeling! I started to feel sad my lower body didn’t have a surge as well. Makes me realize, I wouldn’t feel a surge since I don’t feel grounded or creative in my current situation. More awareness with this one! Yay!! :)

Ive always liked this teachers voice. Its very soft and inviting, calm and happy. This morning brought me back to memories of California from last year. What a wonderful adventure of growth. Brought back feelings of calm and enjoyment in the practice.

Loud house tonight
I probably should have gone ahead and used my earpods tonight, as my wife is clattering around in the kitchen, the two teens are being annoyingly loud for no real purpose other than to annoy...thankfully the youngest is staying at a friend's tonight! Looking forward to a quiet, hopefully productive weekend, now that I have my latest MRI out of the way...hopeful of accomplishing a lot around the house this weekend. All leading up to being able to pronounce myself back in business soon! I am SO ready to work again!
