Resting your awareness gently on your breathing. There is nothing else to do except to notice that you are breathing. Allowing your experience to be simple and nourishing. Photo by Egor Vikhrev on Unsplash

Just breath
šŸ’•I enjoy these meditations most, the ones that bring awareness to self! It reminds me how alive I am and am greatly thankful for another dayšŸ™ focusing on my breathing also lets me know what state my body is in ~slow relaxed breaths 😌~ up to ~fast anxious breaths 😳~ My favorite idea of this meditation in particular is that I can do this as I walk too-something I do quite often-all day long actually šŸ˜‰ šŸ’•

It helped really release something trying to get out, in the end that’s what happened. I’m really glad to have done this meditation

Good Morning 11-3-17
I have a lot on my mind as I go into this day: my hurt loved one one, a stressed loved loved one, a dentist appointment (now that’s stressful enough), those in pain/suffering, etc. but I take control by breathing and enjoying the beautiful day I was given on this planet and move on. Happy day, Everyone! It’s Friday!

Breath and awareness
I can find awareness in my breath and then move it outwards, take it with me. The breath will calm me and I can take that awareness and continue to move forward, but to restore my balance I can start again from my body and go from there

Good Morning!
Breathing and being still in the moment is so crucial for our minds as well as our souls. Finding peace in the midst of our busy lives and emotions is a hard thing to do unless you take the time to do so, meditating is truly the key to a more positive and healthy life, for through meditating we harness mindfulness.

Day 2
I learned that I forget how simple breathing can be. We get so caught up in our daily routine that we take for granted such a simple part of our being.

Gratefully Completed
I needed this today. I am having a hard time focusing today and this meditation reminds me to focus not on this day or this hour but this very minute. What do I need to accomplish right now? Realistically that is showering and getting ready for work. ;). That will help me accept and focus on what is occurring in this moment so I don’t live in the past or focus on a future I have limited control over. Have a blessed day!!!

Breathing Mindfully
I relearned the simple act of counting your breath (inhale-1, exhale 2...repeat when you get to 10) is deeply soothing, free, and is the Buddhist technique passed down from master to student for over 2,500 years.

Mindfulness
Concentrating on my breathing does center and calm me. It has also been a good strategy in blocking thoughts.

Wanderer
My mind, even in the short three minutes, continuously wandered back into what I’ve been stressing over for weeks. The stress is so bad because I think I’m making the future scenario worse in my mind than it will be in reality. I had to really focus on bringing my thoughts and focus back to my breathing during this session.

Geometry
I can think in shapes, and point the angles of these shapes in the direction I want to put my focus, and everything gently fades away, like a beacon, or the guy with the flashlights on the airport runway, mindful direction of my conscientious.

Mindful Breath
At first I was paying attention to the expansion of my chest with every breath but it was right after that that I felt completely immersed in the breath. It was a pretty cool feeling.

Breathing
Always be aware of breathing. You see at times, people get caught up in busy schedules, work, school or home life. We need to live in the moment. Taking every breath with a thought. Sometimes we should focus on the little things like breathing. Take a break. Just Breathe.

One month into daily meditation... and I feel with this meditation I have come full circle. It’s all about focusing on the breath and returning focus to the breath every time your thoughts wander. This is a great meditation to do when stress peaks during the day - quick, to the point, and effective.

Clarity Through The Thick Clouds
Chaos can feel like a thick jacket that you can seem to squeeze out of. In moments of chaos I often forget to be mindful... I let my emotions carry my actions and my mind is like a rat race zipping from one extreme to the next.... I forget that if I focus on mindfulness and breathing I can create peace around myself in any storm.

Light like a feather
I pictured my awareness as a bright white, light feather - gently resting on my chest as it rose and fell with each breath. Sometimes the feather would drift away as my mind became distracted by other thoughts. But this is okay and I compassionately brought the feather back to rest on my chest - ready for the next breath.

Mente ida

Breath Reset
As we age and ultimately get busy with the hustle and bustle of life, we often forget that our body continues to breathe in the background. Taking some time to mindfully connect with our breath, we quickly notice where we feel our breath in our body and how powerful an effect it has on our body and mind. Sitting on a bench in my backyard, I dropped down into my body and began noticing where I felt my breath the most. Bringing my awareness immediately to my belly, I felt slowly expanding and contracting of it with each breath. Receiving vitality on my inhale and relaxation on my exhale, I quickly noticed the calming effects on my body and mind. Ahhh....I feel good! Expanding my awareness to include my environment, I noticed the sounds and the wind gently brushing up against my skin. Feeling rejuvenated by this breath reset, I am ready to bring on the day! Thank you, Kristy! Namaste šŸ™šŸ»ā¤ļøā˜®ļø
