We often live in our heads, unaware of the messages the body gives us. The Body Scan offers a gentle way of bringing the mind in the body, noticing our bodily experiences with curiosity and kindness, in the present moment.

I have a hard time focusing on one thing at a time. I get distracted by sounds and movements around me

Breathing into your body
Very good meditation because it describes breathing into different parts of your body

Relaxing
This would be a nice meditation more for bedtime. It was relaxing though.

Body scanning
Perfect ,,, A reconnection of mind and body in a brief session exactly what the doctor ordered for me. Body Scanning is my most useful tool as well as Breathing .

Caring for my tension now.
I learned that if I take a moment to relax and really listen to my body and become aware of where I carry my tension, I can possibly prevent the development of aches later on by mindfully caring for that part of my body now.

I liked the direction to focus and breath into parts of my body, it helped me to focus and note points of tension and try to help ease those. At the end I tried to continue to Carty on without the guided voice, I found my mind wandering & then would get frustrated with myself but I tried to bring myself back each time & not be too hard on myself. I imagine this will get easier as I learn & grow with mindfulness meditation.

Love yourself.
I learned that getting in tune with my mind and body is the first step to loving myself, the way I am.

Breathe
I learned that...I need to feel it all. Focus on my whole body. On my legs, on my thighs, on my feet, on my neck. Focus on the air in my lungs going through my whole body and as it releases to let all my worries and fears go.
