Good basic body awareness exercise.
I have often struggled with the important role of the mind/body connection. I tend to be very much in my mind and by nature a very analytical person. In doing so I ignored signals my body was sending that it needed attention and care. My lack of body awareness also made it easy to disregard my emotions as they are housed in our body and without careful attention tended to not to be acknowledged, fully experienced and understood. This over time can lead to a toxic build up that the body will go to even greater lengths in order to be heard. I encourage everyone to become more aware of your body, where difficult emotions tend to take up residence in your body regularly as to deal with life and impact on yourself, in all its forms, as it is occurring.
