I learned that no matter how often my attention wanders I can just gently bring it back to the moment. I really enjoyed the gentle cues that brought my focus back to my body. I learned to appreciate the thoughts that seem so important and so badly want attention while also letting them go and returning my awareness to the present. ๐Ÿ˜Š

A wonderful, quick self-reconnect
It's pretty amazing how just taking three minutes breathe and do something like a body scan can help get you out of your head, reconnecting with your inner peace. For myself, this is especially helpful when I find my mind beginning to swirl with anxiety or frustration. With only three minutes doing a quick body scan, you can snap yourself back to the present moment and continue your day with renewed energy and confidence.

I take my body for granted. Every bit of it. Of course, I know I have a face, legs, arms, ten toes, and ten fingers, but I never take time to appreciate them and sit to listen to how my body feels. I definitely feel more aware now.

Reconnecting with the body
Re-connecting with the body through body scanner allows you to focus on the well being of your body and how it relates to your mind and spirit. If your mind, body and spirit are not aligned you will not be centered or grounded for a positive day! So take time and be still and focus on your body and how it feels.

It's been 11 days in a row that I've felt well. I haven't had a bad day, I've felt good in myself (despite the fact I've just caught a cold). I haven't been meditating a lot but I do find it relaxing. I have also been writing a diary about my bad days and about my good days and I find it really helpful. I think the hardest struggle with mental health is the fact that it is really difficult to confide in others about it as no one really understands what each single person is suffering as everyone is different, I find writing it down helps a lot because it is as if you are talking to someone, and you can open up more. I really recommend any sufferers to give it ago.
