Breath and soul are connected. I learned to focus on each part of my body, piece by piece, and even though there may be things I don't like, I can accept them for now, for what they are.
I learned how to better be aware of your own body and its sensations. And that being aware of your breath can help to keep you grounded and here in the "right now"
Live in the Present
Very good way to slow down your day and remember that life only happens in the present.
Friends help Friends
Realistically all anyone cares about is your money... I jordan don't need anyone or your money I want to be your friend. I actually care for each and everyone of you.
If you got a $1 to your name they ain't calling you-cause you can't turn up on there paycheck that they worked 2 weeks to get.
We balling on a budget? That's not life... the greatest moments I have had with friends cost me $0, that best Christmas was giving to others, the best moments I have had I was sober af for.
Please friends stop with the illusion, I built many businesses- I don't talk about my businesses because I'm to busy grinding on my businesses which will give you a job and give more life to my friends. I have friends that are homeless- starving- and need to be taken care of mentally and physically... I don't need anything in return.
Breath is in the now
A reminder that breath is immediate and always happening in the now, was a wonderful visualization of our natural tool for anchoring ourselves to the present.
Focusing on the body
I liked this session as it allowed me to focus on each major body part. I would have liked it to be a little slower so I had more time to focus on the individual parts before moving on to the next part. Thanks 🙏
I learned that I don't need to control the breath, I just need to breathe.
Noticing our breath connects our mind to the body of now. Taking moments throughout the day connect to our body.
There’s always the breath
I found my concentration wander even though it’s a 3 minute practice. I was able to return to breath though, so it’s good to know there’s always breath to return to.
My breath is life
Breathing is beautiful. Ahhh, feels awesome, thank you. I am grateful for the reminder:)
I found that I tend to resist giving meditation my undivided attention when I feel like I have incomplete tasks to do at work. I’m not sure how to make better use of a 30 minute lunch break to destress.
Using the noticing skills over my whole body and anchoring myself on my breath was extremely relaxing
I loved how it said to trust my body and breathing and I can always return to my breathing whenever I need to . Makes me feel safe and closer to my body
Calm in a Sea of Uneasy
I learned that to ease my wandering and anxious mind, breathing and acknowledging my breaths is a superb way to slow everything down that is happening, realize the happenings, and live in the present and not outside of it.
I can feel the sense of touch in my hands and fingertips even when they are laying still, not specifically touching anything- very enlightening. Namaste
Everything that happens is in the present. It’s easy to forget that when troubles arise, but you can always return to your breath as it will always be there for you to use to ground yourself.
I didn’t necessarily feel a strong connection between me and this meditation, but I did learn that even if we don’t like what is happening right here, right now, we have to make an intention of liking it. This helps make the situation better and helps you get into the mindset of making the best of the situation. The reason I did not exactly feel a strong connection with this meditation is it did not help my worries go away and leave my body. However, it has helped me think about how every cloud has a silver lining, and I hope it has the same affect on you if you do this meditation. 💖😘🧘🏼♀️
This meditation session had taught me to be present, in the here and now, instead of focusing on what hasn't happened. I enjoyed.
I feel so relaxed after simply breathing- but with appreciation for my body.
Dont let stressful thoughts control you.
Sometimes stress can be beyond your control. Take a hold of that stress by breathing in security of life’s path and breathing out your doubt.
Here and now
Breathing is happening in real time, so we can always use it to connect us to the present moment. A good thing to remember when I am needing to reconnect with the present.
Life Happens ; get on with it
Can’t control aches & pain; learn to live with em better , focus on what’s important
Why do I feel that sometimes i’m doing it as a chore i need to finish.I need to feel something..maybe its a bad day 😞
Finally feeling a little better now that I’m trying to connect with myself
Great reminder that breath is the now
Breathe today, always come back to my breath in crazy times breath
I feel relax & warm & stay calm & every day goes by I feel less stress after I meditate
I learned that it Is always ok to take time out to focus on myself.
My breath is always there as a calming tool 🙃
I can always count on breathing and it is a natural and effective way of claiming calm as my own.
Helpful for remembering to be present.
It’s good to stop and feel and acknowledge your body and breathing.
It really did make me realize that everything is in the now and when I’m too stressed, just to go back to the breathing
I decided to try this app for the first time as a panic attack was happening. My body was shaking my stomach in knots I couldn’t breath. I did have to take a Xanax which may have helped but focusing on my body and my mindfulness helped as well. Although I still feel very anxious my shaking and feeling of terror is gone.
More at ease and relax
Moving forward episode helped me become one with myself ,and to not let things over take me .
This is the first meditation with No specific goal outside the goal of being mindful. This felt really good, since in other meditations it sometimes feels like I Did not reach my goal if relaxing or energizing or focusing was difficult. This one is just a nice break.
Day 1 Journal Ses:1
From the experience I at the immediate moment afterward feel more calm and relaxed then prior to the session.
A 7 minute version for full body would be lovely. This felt a little rushed, but still helpful. Thank you.
My first meditatiom
This was a new experience. I felt calm and yet extremely aware of everything inside and around me. This will definitely be a positive and uplifting experience for me throughout my high school career and beyond.
I learned that I need to take advantage of relaxation more in my day!
So simple yet so hard
I thought before I listened it would be too basic. But even with my graduate degree in health sciences still so important to learn. And relearn.
I found this meditation to be a kind lesson in accepting my body by meeting my body right where it was as I scanned from head to toe. No critical thinking, no judgment, no debate, just factual and gentle acceptance that this was how it was. Thank you.
Body Scan is the perfect and best way to relax and my favorite way to start or end the day 🥰 feeling you body and listening to your body and mind.
I like her intention of meeting each part of the body with curious awareness to see how it is doing. No judging, no good or bad, just becoming aware of what is & any sensations that part is experiencing. Allowed me to become very relaxed feel the weight of my blankets on my chest & feet and feel the coolness of the air on my exposed arms. Overall I feel satisfied & complete.
Namaste & Happy Friday everyone!
Need more silence
Too much talking by the meditation leader. Would be helpful if there were more pauses between speaking.
