Belly Breathing - Calm for Kids

Belly breathing is a calming technique that is easy for kids to learn to help them calm down. Use this with your children or grandkids, or listen to it so you can teach this to them!
Kids have big feelings, and this breathing exercise is helpful when they feel overwhelmed, sad, frustrated, anxious, or afraid. They'll place their hands on their belly, and we use the imagery of a balloon filling up with air and then letting go to help them easily picture what they are doing.
