Sounds Occur Similarly to Our Thoughts.
This meditation for me was amazing. Opening my mind to the auditory experience is a concept I have never taken advantage of in meditation. I’d always tried to eliminate random noise or sound, seeing it as intrusive to successfully meditating.
I was so, very wrong. This experience was masterful. Since I am constantly bombarded with an endless choir of thought and imagination, understanding its semblance to sound is groundbreaking.
When I find myself in a frenzy of thought, I can simply close my eyes and focus on random sounds that are within auditory range; thus freeing my mind of mental distractions and being able to come away from this meditation with calm and ease as I continue my day.
