Thank you a Lyndi for another wonderful and thought provoking meditation. Why is it so hard to really see ourselves as we are and appreciate our gifts? Why is it so hard for me to accept praise from others and myself? These are things I need to work on.

I had forgotten
I had forgotten that the things I do and the way I spend most of my time is trying to be kind to others. I love being kind and seeing others smile. I had just forgotten that it’s not something I have to do, it’s what I want to do. And I forgot to appreciate that about myself, too.

Manic Monday 12-4-17
This meditation is was a good carry over from yesterday for me. BE KIND. I bought a train ticket for a family member a couple months ago to visit over the holidays so he won’t be alone (a bucket list, too) he coming Saturday) anyways, anyways, another family member who doesn’t seem to visit him, who just complains, etc. is just a little upset now argued with me yesterday for no reason and made me feel less than. Now that time has come it’s not convenient, when that’s all I was trying to do in first place. I can’t win for losing. Just breathe, right? Have a great day, Everyone!

Hate shopping, but...
There’s always folks at the grocery store or mall that I can offer a smile or compliment to. It’s nice to see the reaction on their face; sometimes surprise, sometimes gratefulness or happiness, sometimes even a little conversation! Makes me feel good. 😁

We all need kindness
It's hard to be kind to ourselves because we see all of our faults and flaws but it's important that we are kind to ourselves. We need to see ourselves through kind and compassionate eyes in a world that loves to demean, belittle us and tell us we can't do or get through the hard things. Kindness says it's ok if we don't succeed the first or fiftieth time as long as we continue to try and care.

I need to keep in the front of my mind that caring for others is the best quality to have. Looking after a stranger in need recently made me remember the times when strangers have been good to me. If it wasn’t for this kind of generosity, the world would be a scary place. Give if you can.

Shame and guilt is not who I am
I woke up uneasy this am. Needed to be recenter, feeling my energy shift thinking about a certain situation I just ended. Constantly wrecking my brain about if I made the right decision but when I think about the person and the decision I feel off, I feel unclean, Uncentered and off balanced. Which I feel like if that’s how I feel thinking about it, if I stayed I feel like things would be darker. Depression knocks on the door very close to me and so does guilt and shame. I needed these affirmations this am and feel better about who I am, not allowing others judgement drive away the positive lights in me.

The world can be really cruel sometimes. One thing we have to remember is that people’s negative perception of you, is sometimes a reflection of themselves. So it’s up to us not to take it personal in feeling as if we don’t deserve kindness and love. Instead of looking for it outside, we have to find it with in ourselves.

I realized how selfish id been. I havent done anything that i wont be benefiting from in the past few days. Id been too careful, i havent given anything to anyone without thinking if i wouldnt get hurt in the process of doing so. I had kept to myself all these times only doing what i am supposed to be doing i feel like i am dead inside because that way i wouldnt get hurt i think its going to take more time from me to be able to realt open up to people again and let myself feel vulnerable again. But im thankful that i realized this perhaps id be more conscious of doing good and extending a little help to anyone.

When I have shown true kindness to others, I have felt strong and stable. It gives me a sense of power (in a positive way) to know that I can be the reason someone is able to smile. I always want to be that for others. But sometimes I forget that other people can show that same kindness to me, without me needing to ask or reciprocate. I need to be more open to not just giving kindness, but also receiving it. I don’t need to be the strongest person all the time. I can rely on the people I love to help hold me up if I need it.

I learned that ... one’s mood changes in an instant. You feel upbeat and then suddenly you’ll feel drowned, stuck in a hole. Today’ morning I went to the gym, got in a workout, it felt amazing. Returning back I felt tired, really sleepy which might of been because I was stuck in a car almost the whole day. Later on, I felt a sort of frustration and stress. Moods are really sudden.

I’ve noticed that I hold a grudge sometimes. Mainly in the sense that I want whoever hurt me to feel the pain I did or understand what their actions made me feel. My horrible life
I feel deserted in my family. They treat me like I’m not here. And the only time I get noticed is if I’m at a hospital, they can’t find me, I’ve barricaded my self in my room or I’m being rude mean or misbehaving. Isn’t that sad how that’s the only way I get noticed. They started paying a little more attention to me on December 27th 2018. Cause my dog died. She was the one who’d protect me. She’d growl when I was yelled at. I wanna run away. I need to disappear.

Sometimes I can get irritated when a lot of people want to hangout with my during the weekends, or when people are always calling and texting me.
