We all have to begin somewhere when we set out to visualize within our meditations or relaxation. It does not need to be perfect and there is no need to feel you have to create a clear picture. Even getting a sense of the image is a good enough start. Pick a place you feel safe in and visit in your mind on a regular basis. Repetition brings clarity and safety.
