This mediation taught me to be with my breath. I noticed how calm my body feels when I'm only thinking about how to inhale and exhale.
I leaned that you can just take some time and breath

This breathing mediation really took me somewhere else during the 3 mins. I was literally experiencing a whole different time and place which was amazing because I was more aware of myself.
Balance through breathing
I learned how much mental balance comes from breathing. Finding balance in my breath and being in line with my breath helps me finding mental balance as well.
Don't control the breath
I relearned that paying attention to the breath does not mean controlling the breath. Paying attention to breathing automatically slows my breathing to a calmer state.
I liked using the breath as a place to focus without judgment.
I learned that by focusing on your breathing you are not necessarily controlling it, but becoming one with it.
Focusing on a simple thing was nice after a bit of challenging work. I feel more relaxed and I believe I'm working with a clearer mind.
Doing this right before my night shift at work really helps to calm me down a bit
I learned that more silent meditations are for me. One day perhaps someone leading me will be helpful but for now it is even more distracting than just learning to breathe on my own...I'm working on it...
By simply focusing on my breathing I found my self more relaxed more calm and ready to face the days challenges. This is great! I might just subscribe.
