Embodied with Light
Oftentimes we are busy in auto pilot that we do not notice our body unless it screams at us about some ailment. And then there are other times we don’t want to experience our body because there is something we don’t like about it, essentially being at war with it. The problem with either case is a separation from embracing or inhabiting a full presence. In this very calming and grounding meditation, we are invited to be aware of every part of our body as a band of light nourishes it.
Sitting in an upright position, I brought awareness to my breath. Aware of this breath, I opened the door to welcome in my body. A band of light began to swirl around the top of my head. As it continued down to touch every body part, I felt incredibly warm and nourished. Embodied with light, I am reminded of what is truly important today. To Be Love.
