Breath as an anchor
Sitting comfortably, my awareness of my belly rising and falling as I breathe. When thoughts or emotions creep in, I start counting 1, 2,3.... , with each inhalation and expiration; that brings me back to my focus. I’m also aware of my body in relation to its position on the couch; I feel the contact points but aren’t distracted by them. I think this is a great guided meditation for the breath. 🙏💙
