Authentic Joy
When we decide to practice the life-long journey of mindfulness, we awaken our senses, we awaken our spirit.
Authentic joy is when we feel happy, when we are excited for no particular reason other than Knowing that this new day is filled with infinite possibilities. This Knowing can give us authentic joy.
Since changing up my morning routine from just jumping out of bed to taking the time to setting intentions for my day, being thankful and grateful, I’ve been experiencing an awakening, a true feeling of joy, in my heart space. Even when I wake up tired, as I did this morning, while brushing my teeth and mentally saying my daily mantra, I felt this joy boil up in my heart. Mind you, I wasn’t always this way. I used to wake up angry and frustrated every morning. It’s no wonder why I wasn’t enjoying my life back then. I was looking at my life, at all of life frankly, through negative filtered glasses.
As I continue on this journey, I am excited. I am inspired. I am filled with authentic joy on all the things that Just Are and on all the things that Can Be in my life. This transformation I am experiencing is truly amazing and it all started when I made a Choice to embark on a daily journey of mindfulness, of thankfulness, of gratitude. I truly believe that we can all experience authentic joy within our heart, within our entire being. We are only One Choice away from changing our lives for the better and that Choice is all of ours to individually make! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
