Coping with Anxiety
I learned that anxiety can take on many faces two of such being binge eating and lashing out at others. It’s important to check in with ourselves several times throughout the day to see how both our bodies and minds feel. It’s amazing how a short three minute break can shift perspective.

Feeling anxious
I noticed I do a LOT of those things when I’m anxious - clench my jaw, snack on foods and get cranky and take it out on others (sorry husband). Maybe reaching for a good cup of tea or taking a quick walk is better in many cases. Sometimes I’m anxious - out of habit - and I don’t even know it. It’s important for me to check in with my body now that I know these signs.

anxiety
i 100% do all those things such as clenching my jaw and not being able to focus my breathing i also sweat a lot like stress sweat so this really allowed me to see almost physically my anxiety and how to be present in the moment instead of freaking out.

Anxiety Realization
I realized that sudden bouts of anxieties happen to me everyday. May it be because of overthinking or thoughts about fear. And instead of fighting my way to get pass by it, I drowned myself into food and negativity. As a result, I became an obese and pessimistic person. But now I've proved that it was all in the mind. Stop overthinking! It'll never do you any good and it'll only make matters worst! And instead of turning around from fear, go ahead and face it! Conquer it, befriend it! Because when you do, it'll teach you limitless possibilities! 💪🏻

Anxiety
I learned that I need to slow down and realize where my anxiety is coming from and not build it up in my head so much. I also need to realize if I’m truly hungry or just comforting myself. I also need to take time to meditate and calm myself down in the busy day.

Anxiety struggles
I’ve had anxiety for many years now and have tried countless ways to help ease myself to a much calmer state of mind but nothing seemed to work, everything that they suggested in this video I had tried and haven’t come out feeling any better. But after listening to many of the mindfulness audios about anxiety I have come to realise that these are the only things that help me become less anxious. It’s actually changed my life.

Anxiety
I learned that patience plays a huge role in anxiety and if you take a few seconds to check your body and to check your surroundings, you’ll make wiser and better choices on how to handle your anxiety.

Checking In
This is a very wonderful , helpful and very useful tool, checking into how the body reacts to anxiety and stress... Checking into the breath throughout the day. Is a great way to change the bodies reaction to the impulses it’s receiving due to the anxiety and stress... Instead of going to food it taking it out on others, two of my usual reactions to stress, I am going to check in more often to how my body is feeling and take actions to fix the problem, not mollify it temporarily... Peace...

Anxiety should not be handled by eating and so if you have anxiety just breathe.

Checking in with myself throughout the day is important. I’m taking care of myself is just as important as taking care of others.

Finding this source
I never thought about this, but I just learned on how to find out the source. Before I’d try to keep it down by pushing it to the side and keep going (part of the “suck it up” mentality I grew up with). I never thought to actually confront it physically, where I feel it in the body, and mentally, what are the triggers. I really like this approach and by doing this then maybe I can see if breathing will calm me down a little bit better.

A constant companion
I’ve been anxious for so many years that it’s become a norm for me, so checking in on whether I feel anxious will be helpful. Constant anxiety is not good for my health, even if it’s something I’ve used to. However, the advice on so-called ”emotional eating” was more harmful than helpful for me, as I tend to restrict my eating when anxious. Food, even treats and ”comfort food”, are medicine when you’ve survived a restrictive eating disorder, so I really shouldn’t second-guess my hunger signals or even cravings.

Noticing Anxiety and Easing Anxiety
What causes anxiety? For me, I am very aware and I know what causes my anxiety at this moment — I have a major exam today, and I am in a (metaphorical) life-or-death situation: If I do not ace this exam, I have to repeat my entire course year at university — something which I am actively avoiding. The weight and significance of this exam hence affects my emotions and state of being greatly. What I learnt: Notice how the anxiety is affecting my state of being — mind, body and spirit. For me, when I am anxious, my mind becomes paralysed; physically, I would chronically vomit (multiple times within an hour) and have diarrhoea — this happens pior to exams, and when I have a full day of lectures and seminars back-to-back without even a lunch break. Ways to reduce anxiety: Deep breathing, and be mindful of one's breath often, through out the day, every day. When one is anxious, one is often short of breath. I shall try listening to this whenever anxiety and panic attack hits before every test, big or small.

Becoming
Noticed that I find joy in relaxing my body this way and perhaps I should practice this once stressed or anxious.

Stress
I would stress all over so how do I find a way to release it all along with the pain and illness… My stress is more of the love I care for my daughter and see her in misery. I’d love to see her happy, genuinely happy even on a bad day.

Day 13
I ruminate and spiral. I tend to reserve and take out stress on others when deep down I am not reserved and very kind. Maybe it’s my new job. Or lack of being in school bc finances. Or the fear of love instead of the courage with my lady. I know who I am and these stresses will pass. I love Kaylee so much I never want to hurt her. I love my career now and want to be successful. And I will continue my education. Stress hits every one. Happiness is a choice.

Problems with guilt.
I felt anxious. I noticed that I feel guilty about everything. I feel guilty when I try to treat myself and not do anything for others, when I stay home and when I go out. I also feel guilty when I’m sick and I can’t take care of others, all of this guilt has taken a drastic toll on my health and the guilt just gets worse.

I am anxious
I like this practice because it taught me that one step to relieve anxiety is to first realize and acknowledge that you feel anxious. I guess most of the times that we are so busy that we don’t even know how really busy we are that we tend to cause ourselves so much stress. However, acknowledging the presence of anxiety is not enough, this practice also calls for an action so we can really relieve ourselves from all the anxiousness we sometimes create ourselves, in our minds.

Anxiety
I like the different suggestions Cindy Wolk-Weiss offered to release a feeling of anxiety in this life coaching session. However, I wish I knew how to prevent it entirely. Invariably when I recognize the feeling of anxiety, I feel a sense of guilt - guilt that I am not believing in the blessings that await me. It’s a viscous circle. 🤷‍♀️

Know yourself
Often times, we feel anxious through out the days, and we might not even understand why. Anxiety shows itself in different ways so it's good to know yourself -the patterns. How do you feel when waking up? While driving? Are you irritated often? Do you overeat? Do you not eat at all? When you have been able to pinpoint these things, learn to ground yourself; live for the now. It is not easy for me to say this, but we have to continuously reassure ourselves that everything will be fine; ground yourself!

Anxiety
I noticed it in my mind. By calling it out I was then able to feel my shallow breathing, the tension in my teeth, jaw, face. By the end I was feeling it coursing through my body, but recognizing it, I took charge of my breath and thoughts, marshaling them back home quietly, soothingly.

Day 1
I know where my feelings of anxiety come from and some triggers, but it has been hard with trying to break away from alcohol. I used this as a way to slow myself down but now it just makes me concerned for my body and health. At the same time, I’m anxious about being away from home and what’s going to happen in the future. I am struggling with staying in the moment and just enjoying all that’s around me.

Good moment
Tues 19 April. After I took kids arcades I was in a very good mood. Elated. Happiness. No anxiety for about 2 to 3 hours. 6pm. Hadn’t eaten much. I hadn’t slept much night before and didn’t want to go out before.

Meditation is always good for stress because it helps you calm down after a stressful day and a stressful day deserves a restful night and I do sleep I have noticed that when I meditate all the time I feel like I’m relaxed and calm and my nerves are always calm and quiet the lord is always with me and I’m grateful for these meditations and that is why I love them
