Eclipse
On the day of the solar eclipse I am reminded how grateful I am of my eyes. Windows to my soul but also my favorite way of experiencing the world and the people around me.

Thankful
I am reminded what a gift my eyesight is. Oftentimes we look around without really seeing or appreciating what a gift sight truly is.

Vision To Paint
Vision is so important in shaping our lives, our dreams, the physical and metaphysical that we often take our eyes for granted. They are always giving us a view into the world and for that I am so grateful this meditation has highlighted that. I will go into my day very grateful for my vision and eyes and already know I am going to see today so much differently!

Breathe
Look around you. What do you see? Smell the cool fresh air if you're outside. Feel the floor with your feet if you're inside. And just take a big breath to let everything out. All your worries and all your excitements of the day.

I loved this!
I've never truly paid my eyes the gratitude and respect that they deserve. I'm a very visual person, some would say I eat through my eyes, but I've seemed to neglect them and all of the wonderful things they help me see.

Gratitude for my eyes
They allow me to see the beauty in the world around me. They allow me to learn from my mistakes. They also remind me that it's okay to have some help because I can't see without the help of glasses and contacts :)

Appreciate things
Our eyes is the greatest platform we can use to appreciate things. To feel the joy in other peoples smile and appreciate the things around us. I learned that whenever i feel down or sad or stressed, i just have to use my eyes and see all the beautiful things around me.

The eyes
Be appreciative of what you see and who you see. The eyes are the windows to the soul. Just like taking anything for granted, the organs that hold the senses are especially invaluable.

Happy Sunday 11-12-17
I learned that I was personally taking for granted what my eyes do for me. I don’t give them enough credit for their daily duties or the beauty they really give me. I am honored to have my eyesight to see what Mother Nature unselfishly has provided us, to see my family & friends, and acquaintances, etc. I honor and admire those who cannot or who do not have the power to see. Bless you all. Thank you, Aura! Have a great day, Everyone!

I see what I’ve been taking for granted...
...and that is how grateful I am that my eyes let me look upon those that I love, and that I should let my eyes look *with* love more often.

True windows to the world

Eyes
Are a tremendous gift! Just to take some time to focus on that which allows us to focus on our world, was quite nice...and long overdo. I liked this practice. I'm think'n I might do this one again and again allowing time to focus on my heart/lungs/etc. giving thanks for the blessing of each What a nice pre-Thanksgiving practice, this one!!!

Appreciation
It wasn’t until towards the end of this exercise I really grasped a message. I do appreciate seeing my loved ones faces and being lucky to be able to see their expressions of love and happiness. Sometimes made by me. Good exercise.

Ojos are beautiful.
We see what want to see in nature. Focus on the greens, purples, blues, greys, yellows and oranges and whites and earthy woods and trees. Stay away from the reds and blacks. I feel more positive focusing on colors that are attractive.

Being grateful for our Eyes
We never really pay close attention to what our eyes give us day-to-day, moment-to-moment, second-to-second. Appreciating the gift of seeing others just as they are, seeing emotions, seeing nature, animals, loved ones, seeing birds fly over us as we drive and the beauty in the sky even during the rain... bringing rainbows to show us that after the rough times comes the love of our Creator. God Bless you today as you see the world.. and everyday... Instagram @TinaTheLifecollegist

Appreciation
The simple act of being able to observe the world around us is such an amazing gift. The eyes show us the world and can show us ourselves if we let them

I need something to help me upon wakening

Taking my sight for granted
I learned that taking my sight for granted is sad bc it clearly is one of the most important senses & as I let my mind wander I could see all those I love & started thinking what if I were born blind? I wouldn’t be able to picture them & the memories would be so much less powerful & vivid esp those of my deceased loved ones. Today was the perfect day for this as I lost my aunt last night & I can see her so clearly in my mind & I’m beyond grateful as she was so special to me. I am blessed to see their faces everyday in my memory but only bc I had my sight to allow it. I watched each of them so closely with my eyes & I only just realized now that I DID LOOK at them so deeply with my eyes & can now remember every little detail which is a true blessing in and of itself. So I’ll no longer take my sight for granted. I want to wake up everyday looking to see the beauty in everyone & everything I hold dear. This was not what I was looking for today in my affirmation but I’m glad it found me.

Our eyes rest gently in our eye sockets- allowing us to experience others’ joy when we see them smile or laugh

Eyes!
This made me realize I have soooo much tension around my eyes and between my eyebrows. :( by the end I felt a tiny bit of relaxation around them but wow it’s bad! That was eye-opening! Pun intended lol. I appreciate my eyes so much and the sockets they rest in and being able to see the beauty of this world and my fiancé’s face :)

We often take the eyes for granted
It's one thing to see the world, but another to appreciate that we have the power to capture the beauty of the world and of living.
J

Sight unseen
It is a great oversight on my part that I wake up everyday, before I start my meditation or prayers, having subconscious expectations that everything I “need” to work will work. My senses, my organs, my car, my electricity etc etc. How I can take things for granted, when four years ago I nearly lost all functions due to neuropathy and diabetes, is a human marvel. Yes, we push on, but we should take time daily to appreciated the many gifts we, too often, perceive as guarantees. Sight is no different. Beyond the natural functions of our eyes goes also a different sight that allows us to see deeper into the natural world and see the people around us. I’m careful today not to just walk by others as if they don’t exist, as often happens in modern society, but to acknowledge them and take in their wonderful existence. Love despite not being received. Smile despite being scoffed. Tolerate despite ignorance and the backdrop of an impatient world...

Gratitude for the eyes
This practice helped me realize how much I️ have taken for granted what the eyes do for me. I️ do not give them nearly enough credit. I️ couldn’t imagine a world without color, and without all the beauty around me. I️ will be more mindful and appreciative of my eyes, and how they help me explore the world.

I learned the important of appreciating my eyes. They do so much for me in a day, and it’s a body part I never think to be grateful for. Sending all my gratitude to my eyeballs today!

Appreciate The Eyes
I learned that we need to appreciate more what is beneficial around us, rather than what can change. For example, our eyes. I’ve realized how blessed we are that God have us eyes to see color, to see smiles on our friends faces, to see change in someone for the better. I need to start realizing how grateful we are, and not take it for granted.

my eyes take in the waiting room bright modern furniture attentive compassionate staff small clusters of families supporting the one in danger my heart breaks for the mother and father their beautiful college age girl is wearing a protective mask on her face her left arm has a cotton bandage taped to the inside of her elbow we are escorted to an examination room it is all brand new state of the art clean curves with a sliding star trek door the renound specialist is a slender blond with a german accent he listens carefully to her pointed questions his answers are honest, clear and concise her important blood markers are all stable no disease progression it is good news the best possible news under the circumstances but she struggles to digest what he is saying I reach out and take her hand as I say “It’s all good!” a smile of relief comes to her her lips quiver as she nods and let’s go of my hand to wipe away the tears but afterward, on the train ride home the terror in her eyes is still there

Ball and socket
I’ve never focused on my eyeballs before, and how they rest in the sockets, except for when they are itchy or I have something in one of them. It was nice to focus on them calmly and appreciate the roundness. Namaste
