Acceptance is easier said than done - especially when what the moment presents is unpleasant, uncomfortable or painful. This meditation guides us to simply acknowledge & allow what's here to be here - even when we don't like it.

Accepting
Aiyo accept what is here and now before us knowing that everything that come to us has its purpose and something for us to learn from.

Acceptance is Trusting God.
Acceptance is trusting God; allowing God to move in your life. Accepting the good with the bad and trusting there's always a purpose and a lesson.

I really like this meditation! No one ever said that life was going to be easy and we all face challenges daily. By accepting these challenges and allowing them to happen we give ourselves power to change. Accepting is half the battle and we are closer to victory! Good times won’t last forever and neither will the bad times, so by accepting the bad times we are already on our way!!! On our way to change and a better, brighter reality... Peace...

Anxiety
It helps talking to someone about it. I know for myself I sometimes have the tendency of keeping things to myself and not letting them out. It is such a habit. Today I was feeling anxious and I talked to my mom about it, about how I wanted to work on it (my anxiety) to live a healthier life. She supported me, she was a good listener and cared for what I said. I felt much better minutes later just being able to unburden my thoughts for a bit. this lesson taught me that by accepting some things, we allow ourselves to work ok them and make it better:)

Accepting
I learned that if we are mindful in the moment, we actually accept & allow what is happening in our lives now.

Accept, Not Avoid
I am free to let my emotions be as they are. They cannot hurt me. Really, they will only hurt me if I engage in experiential avoidance, or that of not allowing myself to be in the present moment with my them. If I mindfully act to witness my emotions, and not let them overpower my thoughts, then I will be able to process them better and ultimately, loosen their grip on my life.

Accepting what we don’t want
My stress levels have been increasing lately. I have control of some stressors, but not all of them. This grounding meditation helped me find my center and showed me a fresh perspective. I get to choose where my focus goes. Worrying over things I cannot control does not serve me or help me. Acceptance does help me. I am water. “Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.” (Lao Tzu) Thank you.

Silver Lining
Accepting that which we like is quite easy. However, that which we do not like, be it a loss or challenge of some sort, can be and is a very difficult process for most of us to accept. According to what Jaisa quotes in her meditation, to accept is to allow. To allow does not mean we have to like or even love what occurred. Rather, it is an allowance of whatever occurred because it is already here. A way to aid us in allowing is through our breath. Because our body breaths only in the here and now, we suddenly find ourselves also in the here and now when we become mindful of our breath. Following the subtle flow of our breath entering and exiting our body, we give our mind something to focus on. While our mind is busy focusing on this ‘job’, we are in fact, allowing ‘what is’ without even realizing it. Once we have allowed, we find ourselves no longer resisting and the beautiful light of peace has entered our body and mind. With peace in our body and mind, we are more readily available to accept ‘what is’. Again, acceptance does not mean we have to like or even love what occurred. Rather, it is a choice. A choice to embrace peace rather than fear. With peace as our guiding light, we might just see the silver lining in whatever occurred. And, within the silver lining comes a great understanding. Acceptance
Being with my thoughts no matter what they are is coming easier to me as I continue doing it. It's freeing to me. I used to push them right out of my mind.
