'Each morning before you do anything else, hold gratitude.' Gratitude is the path to happiness, inner peace and joy. In gratitude we feel blessed, we are reminded of the many blessings of life that are ours to witness, to enjoy, - to live as. Gratitude is the basis of a happy life of peace. I start my day, every day, with a simple declaration of gratitude. Some are big and some rather small, but each just as important as the last. I made myself a gratitude jar to keep each item of gratitude. Simple, yet ritualistic, and it reminds me every day how much I really do have to be grateful for.

Great to take a moment to do at anytime, but I just did this morning laying down with my house rabbit and what a beautiful way to start the day. Feel lighter & happier now just by taking a few moments to be grateful.

This was a daily reminder that I’m blessed to have such amazing people in my life! My friends, family, coworkers, Steven as my partner, my parents who love me, and I’m on a path of working to serve others even more. I’m so grateful.

I am SO Blessed
That I wanted to share this with you. Okay, I wasn’t EXACTLY Happy at the beginning of this; my roommate DID dump my coffee as it was brewing, but you know what? A morning meditation...
I feel grateful that my grandfather and my father are still alive. I’m grateful even for my father’s anger because it forces me to articulate myself in ways that, while uncomfortable, helps me unearth feelings and experiences that autism causes to sink inside before I can deal with them. I’m aware that I’m hurting my other family, but I’m also aware that they put me in between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the psychiatric issues at hand. She doesn’t want to regulate her behavior or she’d’ve done that already. But I’m grateful that I’m able to realize all of this, as painful as it is. I look forward to playing Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in forty-nine minutes.

I am grateful to begin a path to wellness both mental and physical. When I acknowledge a gratitude the corners of my mouth turn upward. I feel full of appreciation and contentment. I can grab a hold of these positive feelings anytime throughout the day by returning to my morning gratitude or finding a new one.

It was nice to pause and start to ease gently into a meditation practice again. Little by little. Day by day. Small bits of mindfulness to balance and ground me and get me through the days. My back is a bit sore lol..

Being grateful for even the little things brings so much joy. Begin every morning with gratitude. Dorothy reminded me of a lesson that my father taught me years ago, and that was plan both big and small things that I like to do every few weeks so when life may become a little challenging, I will always have something good to look forward to in the future and it helps me to keep pressing on In the good and not so good times. The relief of gratitude allowing me to consider sensations I find uncomfortable and tedious in a way where I can apply it to a better understanding of myself and my body’s functions. It doesn’t have to be horrible and I can still be incredibly glad for whatever breaks from it that my experiences permit.
