Perhaps the easiest way to be awake and aware in your life is to be attentive to your breath; to be in the present moment; to witness and experience what "is". Please join me for a mindfulness meditation holding attention onto your breath - in 'now', to be attentive, aware, and awake. Using a simple technique, discover how to bring your attention into the present moment whenever you notice you are not present - to easily return to 'now' -to live aware and awake.

A Meditation for Awakening
My breath is always there as a “lasso” to bring me back to the present moment. This morning my mind was racing with “to dos” and concerns so I was easily distracted. My breath and brain were playing tug-a- war.

Being love
I need to be more mindful of the present. I sometimes replay memories is my head of the past and what I could’ve done better. I need to come to terms with what is and let go.

Awakening
It is hard to focus in on yourself and the present moment but an easy way to calm my thoughts down is focus on my breathing.

Focus
Focusing on yourself really does help with waking up. The rise and fall of your breath is a good place to focus on.

Love yourself to be able to breathe. Once you focus inward everything falls into place. Namaste

Awakening
I am learning to use my breathing to bring myself back to the present moment. It is always a struggle, since my mind seems to think it needs the time to ponder and relive things.

Awakening
I need to practice focusing on the breath/present moment more often! I am distracted by thoughts often and easily become lost in them.

Sleeping
I fell asleep within minutes. Perhaps a walking meditation of opened eyes will help.

Awakening
We can get overwhelmed by thinking too much about the past or the future, especially if we have regrets about what has happened or worries about what is to come. In this meditation, Dorothy gives us a very useful technique that we can use anytime to bring us back into the present moment: focusing on our breath. By turning my attention to my breath, I immediately became aware of the present moment. I will use this technique often to just be in the moment as it is, an awakening and awareness of the present moment. Namaste! 🙏🏻❤️😊

Awakening
Nice way to start the day. I am gently reminded to be mindful each moment, to see things as if for the first time or maybe as if it were the last.

Present Moment Awareness
Peaceful way to being my day with. As I focus on my breath, I am listening to the sounds of the rain falling outside. It is soothing. Our breath is always there for us to bring us back to the present moment.
