I decided before the end of last year that my word for 2020 was going to be ‘Mindful’. Therefore, since the beginning of this year, I have been trying to be more in tune, or rather aware of, my body, my thoughts and my surroundings on a daily basis.
In this wonderful meditation, I became aware of my breath. When my mind wandered off, I gently brought it back to my breath. Then I expanded my awareness to my body, as a whole, noticing any sensations, while not getting caught up in any narrative.
Tuning in to my breath and body for this 7 minutes, I have a sense of clarity as well as gratitude for this moment, this day. Thank you, Jiva! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
