I loved Lauren's re-framing of "I am stressed" to I am experiencing stress... Great reminder! Thank you. ✨

It is very human to feel consumed by what feelings are moving through me.
I am more than my negative thoughts. I am even more than my positive thoughts. I am more than my mind.

3D Breathing & More than Mind Affirmation
I am more than my thoughts and my feelings. The affirmation that “I am not stress but am only experiencing stress” is an important reminder to me that my emotions are not WHO I am but only WHAT I am feeling. I also like the image of 3D breathing. Thanks, Lauren.

I need to step back
Too often, I judge everything about myself and my life based on my mind. I need to step back and remember: I'm alive, I'm healthy, my family is healthy, nothing that's stressing me out is going to change that unless I let it.

I am me. I am not my job, employer. I will accept things that come and deal when they come. Not stress now.

Spiritual Being
I am more than my thoughts (positive or negative) or my mind. I am a spiritual being separate from the confines of my body......

Too long...
I’ve allowed myself to be consumed with my situation for far too long! This session tells me that I can let go of the thoughts of pain, inadequacy, and sorrow caused by my ongoing situation. I NEED to move past these things, and get on with life! Unfortunately, much of moving beyond my ‘now’ relies on waiting for others to intervene, and waiting in their actions is causing great stress in my mind and life! I WANT to get back to my life...and I want it NOW!😱

A good reminder
Of course it makes sense that we are more than we are currently feeling. Heavy thoughts and feelings weigh me down, but that's not me and they're not mine.

Letting it go
Sometimes we have to let go of the feelings we have in order to realize we are not defined by what we feel. We are more.

I am not stress
I like how she talked about that we tend to become whatever is negatively happening to us- I am stressed. We should, instead, say I am feeling stressed. That’s definitely a concept I never thought about. It’s not dismissing the negative, but acknowledging it’s there and not letting it take you over. I’m going to try this. I think it would greatly help my mindset and better process things overall.

be more than what negativity you experience
i never thought about how we describe and define ourselves by what we are experiencing before now. i love the fact that i dont have to be stressed because i am temporarily experiencing stress. i also learned that breathing truly is the foundation and key element we can use to focus, relax and allow mindfulness to consume us.

More than the mind
It is hard to imagine yourself, who you truly are without all of your identities. All those different caps also make us who we are. Stripping them off one by one and I truly wonder what will be left......

I am not my feelings
I am more than negativity or positivity. I am not defined by how I feel for a short period of time (e.g. stressed, frustrated, unhappy)

There is more to me.
It is liberating to realize that I am more than just my thoughts and feelings. I am learning to distinguish and observe instead of being controlled by them.

Food for thought
It’s so true that we are often consumed by a negative feeling or moment, and this felt like it has enabled me to avoid that in my day and hopefully my future.

What I feel doesn't define who I am
I have learnt that I don't have to be sad just because I am feeling elements of sadness, I don't have to have anxiety just because I am feeling spouts of anxiousness or I don't have to be angry or stressed because I am experiencing anger or stress

More Than Mind
This one really hit home for me because a lot of times when I’m journaling, I define myself by what I’m thinking and what I write. A lot of times it makes me feel trivial and I end up not wanting to write anymore. But I’m more than what comes out of my thoughts. I do have a deeper essence to myself apart from who I am to other people. I’m Darah. The human being. And I’m capable of so much more than my mind allows sometimes.

Temporary
I learned that I actually do practice what I preach. As a nurse we tend to tell our patients “this is only temporary” but in our own lives we can feel as if the feeling is indefinite but it is “only temporary” and what we continue to allow is what will be. Make it a great day everyone ❤️ With gratitude to each and every one of you 🙏 Namaste

More than my mind
Emotions do not define me. They are real, valid, and they matter, but they are not everything. I am more than just my mind, and I want to work on finding those other parts.

More than thoughts
It is easy to forget that we are not our feelings, that they are only happening to us in that moment. We are not stress. We might be experiencing stress. I will work to remember that.

Breathing
I learned that there’s more to ourselves than our labels, positive thoughts, and negative thoughts. We need to be able to focus on peeling back our layers and seeing what lies inside our hearts, and think about that ❤️

Stressful day

It's all in your head!
I like how this meditation focus on the fact that all sensations are not your forever reality. That sensations, good and bad, live in your mind and are temporary. It gives you the opportunity to cherish the good and know that the bad will pass

Needed to refocus on breath after lot of tears
It's interesting to refocus and reframe "I am anxious" to "I am experiencing anxiety that won't stay forever."

What I leaned
I learned it’s really easy to get carried away with our feelings and let them consume us, but instead we should focus on the bigger picture

defining ourselves
I am not stressed, I am temporarily experiencing stress. We cannot let ourselves be defined by what is flowing through our mind.

More than the mind
For me this was hard today. I slept 1 hour. Pain scale is hanging at s 7-8 with neuropathy. I just could not connect. Perhaps a bit too much psychobabble for me. My final thought was...Yet without the mind, I am nothing but a shell. I'm trying to use self care for my mind.

More than my thoughts
This practice was very helpful, as it reminded me that I am more than my thoughts-both negative & positive. Also, instead of “I am stressed,” how about saying, “I am experiencing stress.” There is more to me than just thoughts, or the temporary situations I face.

More relaxed.
I am skeptical about perfect talk about how this is me. 7 minutes seemed a bit redundant. I got so stressed out going through the process of getting this app and all the hoops to find out it is only free for one week and I had to sign up for a year. If it delivers as promised it will be great. I can’t totally relax but doing better.

Experiencing...
It can be quite easy to be consumed by what flows to and through us. We are human, after all. However, once we realize that we are not any one emotion or thought, that we are indeed, more than mind, we are able to recognize what remains: an awareness surrounded by a body that is able to breathe on its own. In this meditation, we focus on our breath to experience where we feel it in our body and then practice letting go of any labels we or others have given us, thus freeing ourself for a time to just be and experience the Being in us. Emptying my body of breath and taking in a new breath, I noticed my belly rise, like a balloon filling up with air. Taking smooth and steady breaths, I soon realized that I didn’t just feel my breath in my belly. I also felt my breath in my upper back as my upper torso rose, chest rise and the sides of my body expand as well. Lauren calls this 3-D breathing. Focused on 3-D breathing, I listened to Lauren explain that we are more than mind. To experience this, I began dropping any and all labels that I am, (i.e., daughter, sister, student, teacher, etc.) as well as any sensations I was feeling, (i.e., happy, excited, tired, sore, etc.). Free to just be, I experienced the part of me that is always running in the background, Being. In touch with Being, I felt pure light, I felt pure love. What a beautiful experience! Sitting for a time and becoming a witness to how our body breaths, we soon realize that there is quite a lot going on. Focused on 3-D breathing, we drop into our body and temporarily forget any labels we or others have placed on us. Soon realizing that we are more than mind, we can see that we are more than any negative thoughts and emotions we may experience. We are even more than any positive thoughts and emotions we may experience. Those thoughts and emotions come and pass through us from time to time. We are human beings. So, I have an idea. Let’s all spend a little less time in our human form and a little more time in our being form so we are free to experience lightness of Being. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
