Breathing Meditations
Breathing Meditations really help when I'm feeling anxious . It's such a simple mindful technique, but when we caught up in our overwhelming thoughts and anxiety we truly forget to do this. Thank you

Bringing focus back
I often have a problem with my mind wandering to different places and this taught me to bring my focus back and focus on my breathing. This not only worked but made me feel so much better then when I started

Reminders of going back to center...
I learned that in the midst of my healing meditation that it's okay for my mind to drift. And that it's simply a reminder to recenter myself. This breathing tool can then be used when I experience anxiety bc it is a centering mechanism.

Realizations
I have control over my own thoughts and feelings. When I'm feeling blue, all I need to do is reconnect with myself, breath, and redirect those thoughts/feelings. It's as simple and easy as that. I find it difficult to remember the control and power I have when I'm in the depths of anger, but hopefully this practice will help me remain in a constant state of Being Love.

Day 9
....I'm just sad...It was a good mediation to help me focus on me instead of my goal all the time...(my vision)In a complete dark area I sit glowing with my lil lite in my hands shaking while focusing on my breath...I'll say it again this world has so much turmoil you have to find peace in you...

We must prepare for failure
I am on a journey of mindfulness. I have goals for my body and my mind and along this journey I have been confronted with results that I was not hoping for. I realize now however that I am exactly where I need to be despite these irritations, because what is truly good or bad? It is all just variances of this journey through life.

Being Love
I learned to be the breath. I’m reminded of the how simple the journey of meditation can be when focusing on breath. Breath in itself appears to be the purest act of love.

I can focus on my breathing and I can bring my mind back from other thoughts.
It's important to focus on the breath to refocus , to help bring you back to the heat and now as that is all that we have. Letting go of everything thing else in the mind

Breathing.
This is an amazing meditation to help soothe my restless anxious mind. I loved this one! It’s so important to detach from the world sometimes and just focus on your breathing and being a being. Being grateful for the skin you’re in and the air you breath. It is truly a magical thing.

Distractions
Bright lights, small noises, people talking in another room, these were all distractions I noticed instead of my breath, but regaining focus was also very easy. I like breath exercises and think they really help you gain control of situations!

Day 3
I noticed so much more my wondering thoughts in this exercise, perhaps because of the long pauses. But I enjoyed it because when she came back in to refocus me I felt so in control, and that my wondering thoughts weren’t as powerful as my ability to focus on my breathing.

Focusing
I learned that even though there are multiple distractions around me, it is very easy to bring my focus back on my breathing. I am extremely thankful for this meditation as i have finally learned how to take control of what I should be focusing on. I will be using this in other aspects of my life.

Not going through the motions
I have noticed sometimes I kind of "float" through my meditations and don't give them my full focus, but I have learned that I do a much better job of meditating when I give it my full attention, and will strive to always do so in the future!

Simpleza

Mindfulness 101
The key here is to simply catch yourself when your mind starts to wander. Take the opportunity each time to congratulate yourself on noticing the wandering mind and gently bring the focus back to the breathe. Such a simple exercise but it makes a huge difference over time.

Simplest breath
It was nice to know that even the most seasoned meditators struggle with thoughts. They also have to catch themselves and bring themselves back to the breath. We are all human it seems.

Strength in Focus
I remained a few minutes longer in the silence to practice breath focus. I found if I count my inhale as 1 and my exhale as 2 I have a better chance of remembering what number I’m on in the count to 10, then I just do it twice. It was good to hear that even the most practiced experience wandering minds and that’s all part of the strengthening. Namaste

Get Back Up
While I’ve been saying it to myself, today is the first moment that I knew in my essence… it’s all about getting back on the horse… because we ARE going to fall. It was a click/mind shift. How wonderful is that?!

Just by keeping yourself from getting interrupted; now that was the hard part. The breathing technique works fantastically combined with a cup of hot Chai tea. And in addition to that, my spelling part of my brain is working better than it ever has before. I just want to say again in reference to how the breathing technique has improve that sensor part of my brain actually relaxed me tremendously. So my explanation would be this; I usually cook for relaxation. But now, I think that I found another hobby that is less messier and easier to keep clean and a lot cheapier. And most of all; WAIT FOR IT.......WAIT FOR IT.....I WILL NOT GET FAT by doing it. (Huh!!). I can’t put another explanation on it. So, thank you to the person who lead this breathing exercise. Sincerely, Lorraine

Breath Focus
I was reminded that I would never be able to only focus on my breathing. The real achievement is to realize when I'm not where my breath is and come back to that place. It keeps me from feeling so frustrated that I'm not where I think I should be, experiencing what I think I should experience.

Practice
This is one that I need a lot of practice with. My mind and its wandering focus. Part of one of my major goals with all of this is to work on the mental "discipline" that I have especially in relation to emotions. Its not to shut them down or block anything, but to acknowledge without staying there, to make sure to return focus to the breathe.

Focusing...
Deliberately focusing on our breath as well as maintaining that focus have many benefits, such as calming our body and mind, becoming present in the Now and opening the door to witness our Being. In addition, focusing on our breath can strengthen our focus in other areas of our lives that can lead us to performing tasks in the ultimate flow state. As I settled in my chair, I began to focus on my breath. At first, I just noticed the air flowing in and out of my nostrils. As time went on, I decided to inhale through my nose and exhale through my mouth. Creating this circular motion of breathing, I noticed my breath getting deeper and more into a rhythm. Simply breathing in this way, I became calm, still and grateful for all of life. It is important to note that our mind will wander as we focus on our breath. It is just what our mind loves to do. When our mind introduces thoughts, we gently bring our focus back to our breath, without judgement. It will take some time and practice to develop and strengthen our focus. However, over time it will become easier to focus, without our mind creating distractions. By focusing simply on our breath, we can strengthen our focus in all areas of our life. Indeed, by focusing, we learn to be mindful in everything we do. By being mindful in everything we do, we are more attentive to our individual tasks at hand. We are even more attentive with the people in our lives. In that way, learning how to focus on our breath is a gateway to a much more satisfying life. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
