Watchful Eye
Once a spider creates its magnificent web, it sits in the center with a watchful eye. Always alert and aware, the spider is content. When something disturbs its web, such as an insect getting caught into it, it hurries over to it to smell it. If the insect smells good, the spider realizes this as food and quickly wraps the insect up for a later meal. Once done, the spider, alert and aware with a watchful eye, returns back to its center. In this meditation, Deanna has us suspend in our web, alert and aware.
After settling in my chair and taking a few deep breaths, I dropped down into my center, visualizing my body as a web. With a watchful eye, I began to sense various parts of my web for any disruptions. When I noticed anything that needed my attention, I hurried over, tending it with loving kindness. Afterwards, I went back to my center and continued the awareness process. After tending to the individual parts, my watchful eyes became aware of this web as a whole.
With a watchful eye, I am alert and aware of all that happens. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
