Self Care Routine
There are 5 areas of self care:
Physical: Walking, Stretching, Hiking
Mental: Meditation, Connecting with nature, Listening to a podcast, Reading
Emotional: Journaling, Connecting with friends, Reciting positive affirmations
Relational: Making time for friends, date night with my husband, Connecting with the aura community
Spiritual: Morning prayer, Listening to a sermon, Meditation, Evening prayer
Looking at all the ways I take care of myself, I take a few moments to fully let those feeling of appreciation sink into my being. Self care is an act of self love. It is a lifestyle. It is necessary in order to become a resilient person. In order to be able to show up for others, we have to be able to show up for ourselves.
