I learned that I can always come back to my breath and be present for myself no matter what’s going on around me. If I don’t, no one else will. It’s self-care.

I’ve known life has seasons. It’s hard not to respond to sadness and trauma w/o emotions. It almost seems phony to be stable when a crisis happens. Using that quote in crisis could replace emotions.

Everyday we find ourselves thinking about what we should’ve done three days ago or even 5 years ago...we think about all the mistakes that we made and regret them. We realize how we often make stupid decisions but we forget that what happened can’t be changed...so we must learn to accept it. We must force ourselves to realize that although we made a stupid decision——>we can change into the person we want to be-the person who makes the right decision. We find ourselves worrying about what our lives are going to be like a year from now or even 4 years from now. We pass through time and wonder and expect what our lives will be like in the future. We think that this is good because we are “planning for the future.” But we shouldn’t get caught up in the blur of it. It could really stress us out Just be aware of where you are now. Focus on the present. Then things will go the way it should
