I created this meditation specifically for my clients who found it hard, or rolled their eyes, every time I asked them to treat themselves with the same love and compassion they give to the ones they love. You will think of a current difficulty or challenge and then direct compassion toward yourself right after. This will help derail the negative self-talk that can accompany challenges in our lives.
