Gratitude sunday
I like to think about sitting from a place of being in the present in my mind as literally being seated in a vast space, and looking around at the various emotions and thoughts that are suspended around me. Some closer, some smaller, some further and larger. When I get caught up, it’s like binoculars and a spotlight on one or a few of those thoughts/emotions and it can overcome me when that’s all I can focus on. Taking down the binoculars and remembering these emotions and thoughts and their actual state of being outside my true present is like what’s being said in this meditation. Transforming the anxiety is my relationship with anxiety.
With the binoculars down, I can feel calm. And sit with gratitude glasses on. 🤓♥️
