Killing with kindness

Emiliano knew that applying kindness in the situation was more important than seeking punishment or retribution against the supposed thief. A life lived in kindness and service to others is how I’ve always attempted to live as well. My current situation doesn’t provide me the opportunities to do so any longer, but I wish to! I know I’ll get there again, and have the opportunities to make others happy again, which in turn will provide me some measure of happiness!

Moments of Love

This is such a good reminder to walk in the world with openness, kindness, and love because it is better for us and those we meet. Often, what we give is reflected back to us.

The right treatment

This was a lovely story about a person who could stay true to himself regardless of the circumstances. This is truly something I hope to learn!! It’s so easy to be sweetness and light when things are going well for you and, unfortunately, even easier to be angry and mean when they are not. Funny when you stop and think about it - I expect things go well much more often for Emilio Because he remains kind to everyone even when they are not.

I am not sure how I overlooked this wonderful story about the importance of embodying kindness and the difference it makes. It’s a powerful story reminding us that kindness and compassion towards others, and towards ourselves, are essential. Sometimes it is reflected in seemingly small actions, but kindness and compassion for ourselves and others changes hearts; changes lives. It makes a difference. Embody kindness. 🙏♥️🌟

Excellent story & moral!! “Sometimes one act of Love can break down a lifetime of hate...” is such a powerful thought! It goes along with my belief that there is only Love and different degrees of lack of Love. Hate is just a complete lack of Love. So if we give some Love to those who have none we help them reduce their hate to accept and make room for the Love. They can always refuse it & we must be willing to accept that. But if they like it & accept it, Love will most likely spread in them like a fire and they will be changed for life. I believe this is what Jesus was trying to teach us when he told us to love our enemies, it is like putting hot ashes on their head. Emiliano exemplified this in a very real and human way. Thanks Debb for making us aware of this!! 💚❤️🍀
