I learned how to connect to my observer self and my raw sense of vision. The goal is to bring myself out of habitual thoughts, and into my immediate experience. I completed this exercise twice in order to absorb it fully. Observing my observer self from a zoomed out perspective was new to me. While following the visualization, I saw a movie screen on which any thoughts would appear. I am the observer. I continued to observe, while not attaching feelings to anything. When I opened my eyes at the end, it felt like seeing everything in a new way. I will practice this so that I may retrain my mind to eventually not go to those unhelpful, habitual thoughts any longer. I learned a lot from this session. Thank you.
