The Mountain Meditation

Absolutely loved this meditation. I was relaxed and encouraged all at the same time. A great reminder that we are incredibly strong and can withhold the storms life puts us through. Must listen if you feel overwhelmed or discouraged.

I am a mountain, strong and tall. I can with stand the storms and weather that come my way.

I feel so strong and grounded after this meditation! I feel like whenever I am feeling down I can just remember what they said in this meditation and feel strong like a mountain.

The Mountain

The person speaking was not calming. I gained nothing from it.

The environment is temporary. I am me for my whole life.

I am and will always be who I am. The environment around me may change, but it is all temporary. Work, money, and day-to-day stress are like wind, rain, and snow to a mountain. They can shape it slowly, but the mountain persists beyond the weather of the day. I will be mindful that my stresses are temporary and can do no more than wear my surface.

When the busyness of life and the storms of life come I need this reminder that I am strong and still like a mountain and need to just BE

I am a calm and peacefull mountain, with singing birds in me, flying above the trees, that cover me, and react on weather and seasons.

I’m a mountain?

Mountains are beautiful from afar and in pictures, but as I get closer to them, I think they’re not so beautiful. It’s only when I’m actually on the mountain that I see its true majesty. The tall trees, bushes, rocks, wild flowers, critters big and small, birds singing, streams flowing. All created purposely into a life sustaining masterpiece. I want to be that mountain. ⛰

Mountain Within

The Mountain within me is my Faith. I can handle anything because I have the strength of a mountain named Jesus always with me; strong, steadfast, resilient, bold, mighty. No matter what is happening around us in this tumultuous world we live in, the Rock of God can keep us steady, if we allow Him to help us do so, be so. So, now, when I'm feeling challenged, lonely, frightened, I will picture my Mountain standing tall and mighty before me and draw strength from it. Beautiful.

Calm

I used to live in the mountains. Now I live at the beach, but I miss my mountains. Someday I would love to return to the mountain, but, like this session prescribes, I carry the mountain inside of me. I think on it often. It was a very happy, much simpler time and way of life. Before life hit like a ton of bricks! Though I’ve made an effort to bring some of the same spiritual peace I felt in the mountains to my home on the coast, I still find myself pining for the trees, the lake, the cabin. Someday I hope to return to my mountain...with my wife and kids, who have only been once or twice to visit with me (my youngest, never) Someday. Someday.

I learned that no matter what I face in life I can be as strong as that mountain and stand tall and keep moving forward ..

I learned that this particular meditation was very strange but i truly do enjoy visualization and that this brought me up rather than bringing me down in relaxation

I am the mountain

More than simply returning to the mountains of Cimmaron,NewMexico, I transcend the memory and cross time and space to become my mountain. I struggled so many years ago becoming acclimated to the thin air of Pike’sPeak. Talking to butterflies in an exhausted stupor during unending days of hiking. Finally arriving at your base. Tumbled and sharp granite blocks that appeared delivered from the sky itself. Piled high, so high. We climbed. Encouraging one another. Our water consumed. The sun growing ever higher. Our final day coming to an end. I stood on the peak and looked around. We could see forever. I strained to catch a glimpse of the ocean I had left behind weeks earlier. Row after row of mountains far, far, far in the distance. Rebelling at the mil s we had crossed on foot. We were here at last and soon this would be but a memory. I didn’t want to leave. And now, through this practice I have returned. I have become the mountain and will forever be able to return as we are one.

As strong as a mountain

It was an incredible visualization experience becoming one with the mountain. Quite far from getting there, but continuously striving.

The turquoise mountain

The turquoise mountain is one of the four mountains that mark the boundaries of the Navajo ancestral lands. It is a beautiful and powerful mountain and I once lived at the base of it. I haven’t thought of the mountain in many years but this meditation brought me back to it and helped me to feel its majesty and power.

Balance

Just what I needed to visualize balance in myself today. The mountain can observe without becoming involved in what goes on around it.

I learned that I have to be like the mountains, because they stay always there, it dosent matter if is cold or hot, if is raining or snowing, they are always there and I have to be always positive, calm, relax because I'm a mountain, we have bad days but they are just bad days, tomorrow the sun will shine.

When you stay present the existential worries and anticipations lessen.

Get away from you and look at the mountains then become one. Only ever seen Welsh mountains and peaks in the Lake District. I love them.
