The Fairy In The Cuckoo Clock
Holly Hall
Storyteller & Narrator
In a time when fairies scoffed at the slow-wittedness of mortals, a kind but absent-minded man named Mr. Soft Pudding unknowingly disrupted a fairy dance by foolishly trying to read his sundial at night. Amused yet fond of him, the fairies, led by their inventive queen and guided by the wise owl, decided to inspire him in a dream with a new kind of clock—one that could tell time even at night, with a wooden cuckoo bird announcing the hours. Mr. Soft Pudding built the first cuckoo clock, delighting his family and village, and his invention helped make Switzerland famous for its timepieces and music boxes.
