Impermanence of breath
I imagined myself standing at the door of my lungs, welcoming each breath as if it were a guest at a party – a party in my lungs! I would say hello as it came in, thanked it for its gift, and then said goodbye as it made its way out. I could only greet one breath at a time. I barely got to know it before it had to go on its way, such is the impermanence of each breath.
