I love nothing more than to celebrate nature by holding nighttime ceremonies outdoors. Unfortunately, where I live, most nights can feel unwelcoming, cold, and wet. But everything changes in the summer. When nature welcomes you with an embrace of the warm night air on your skin, the nighttime creatures sing a chorus for you, the moon and stars light the way for you, and the flowers cast the most magical perfume. It’s on these tranquil summer nights that I feel as though I’m truly one with nature. When I’m flooded with nostalgia and everything seems right and possible.
