a smile costs so little, works such wonders!
today i managed to smile at Dea’s sun flower
Smiling is connected to happiness so during this meditation my whole body felt warm like seeing someone’s smile that you care about. It’s and infectious thing that can change your mental state in an instant. Smiling is a powerful thing.
I learned that a simple smile can be very powerful even when it seems like nothing. I learned to not stress all the little things and to embrace all things in life
Smiles and happiness can grow and even become contagious.😃
Into sand and sink beneath all arms and legs surrender to the physical reduce the nonsensical
The simple act of smiling has a compelling effect on my morale, outlook, stress level, and self appreciation. Neat.
Instead of picturing a smile in the sky I pictured myself under the open sky on a beautiful day. I had a smile on my face and was able to feel the warmth from the rays of sun.
Miles of smiles
Such a small gesture with huge results for the giver and the receiver. One gentle smile can lift someone from despair so they know they aren’t alone. A smile is a compliment without words, an acknowledgement that we walk this world together.
I had a really hard time hearing her. I had my volume up quite high but, my dogs just ate and all there lip smacking and chewing was so distracting. I will try again in a quiet room next time. I love the subject of your smile creating space.
Half way there.
I had quite a difficult childhood, and they're often wasn't much to smile about, so I didn't smile almost at all. When I try to smile now as an adult the muscles in the right side of my face start twitching a little bit because they were never trained you to really smile. But the muscles in my left side of my face do just fine, because I was a sarcastic little and I had no problem smirking, which
is basically a half smile.
Let a smile be your umbrella.
Actions speak louder than words, so smile today. Let your smile guide your mind in the right direction.
Smile anywhere I go
Now that I can take my smile with me anywhere I go, I am bound to a happier healthier self.
Smile brings good things!
The act of smiling, even if we don’t feel like it, makes the whole body and mind responding if we were happy. Pretty strong! Is it normal that the meditation ends abruptly like that?
I learned that as good as it feels to have someone give you a warm smile, it feels even better internally. This meditation helped me feel warm, safe, and happy. It will be a good one to use before In start my work day to get me in the best frame of mind to help others. Most importantly to bring a smile to their days 😄
There is warmth in a smile that makes everything feel like it’s going to be okay. Smile to yourself and be the smile someone else needs today. Be their warmth - be their sunshine.
A Smile is a Lot Like Sunshine
As I relaxed & brought the smile in, it felt airy, spacious, comforting, and warm like sunshine. Perfect for a chilly, blustery day.
I couldn’t even HEAR it-& I have really good hearing!! It was sooo faint!! I am extremely disappointed...
Waaay too quiet
Couldn’t hear this properly so it just got me frustrated so I finished this meditation feeling worse than I started. I actually felt the tension in me build as I couldn’t hear.
A true one, takes an open mouth, open to the others, to this present moment, to this place, to me fully belonging here and now. A smile engulfing my gaze, my eyes soft and sweet, able to see and welcome all the beauty around.
The ripple effect
I need to remind myself to smile more. Smiling really does spill over into our overall sense of being. Look happy, feel happy.
I learned that my smile can spread through my whole body and can positively impact every part of me.
I learned that smiles is supposed to reduce anxiety and help your whole body be receptive to those feelings
I had a hard time following today. Did not make a lot of sense to me
Sometimes that all you gotta do to change your mood. I did not think this would work and that I’d end up fake smiling all the way through this meditation . But I didn’t I was actually really smiling ... and I love that.
Delightful peaceful assuring and convincing, very comforting to have such a wonderful session.
Embrace the day with a smile🌞
Now, I am ready to take on the challenge of the day and the job and anything that comes my way! With a smile both within and without🌞☁️🌞
To hear the word smile, causes you to smile. And what an easy thing it is to do to make your mind shift with one word.
the word smile can cure the darkest days :) so smile more, and tell others to smile as well; for it will make the world a happier place.
It is very true that when you smile it changes your whole perception. This was a great meditation for the end of a very good day.
It is hard but for few minutes I was calm. Looking forward to tomorrow
Taking a moment to smile in one's day can truly provide pride and joy persistent through the day
I was reconfirmed that smiling gives a lot of energy! We should all smile a bit more.
Smiling counteracts the fight or flight response and can calm your whole bodh
A smile resets your body and floods you with positive emotion.
This meditation was right on time! I’ve been nursing an injured knee back to normal and fighting off a cold from playing with my 2yr old niece and just feeling the after holiday blues in general.
But Dea started me smiling and it spread from ear to ear and then it felt like my whole chest was grinning... and after I thought I heard waves in the background, I was transformed to a full blown smile emoji on the beach sharing rays with the sun and radiating my own “smile rays”.
I really relaxed just breathing and blocking out thoughts and sounds. I felt the breeze on my skin really profoundly.
Taking deep breaths really help to relax you. And smiles can warm your heart
Imagine serene scenes of nature, such as the curvature of the earth curling into a smile and focusing on that smile. You begin to feel the smile spread to your own mouth and you become happy from within, and creating peace within yourself
Choose to smile
It feels better than frowning. Smile if you're annoyed or stressed
My first meditation with Aura
Guided meditation is definitely how I need to get started. It is so much easier to follow, especially in the morning before life starts to take over.
Meditating can at times give me a euphoric sensation. By focusing our minds incredible things are possible! Enduring these greatly intense feelings of happiness, self awareness, and positive vibes changes me every day.
Smiling sends messages to your brain that you’re happy, even when you’re not, and make you feel more relaxed.
Smiling changes the body’s chemistry and has an affect on your mood
Not shying away
I am having a difficult time accepting happy emotions and not pushing them away.
I need to smile more so that I can reflect more positivity. I find that I feel more positive than I often show because I do not always smile.
A sincere smile can light up the entire face. I had not ever thought of it as a receptor for the central nervous system enabling the release of the fight or flight response. When I smiled during this practice I actually felt my entire body relax. 🙏🏻
My mind was wandering a bit tonight during my meditation. But I do still believe in the power of a smile. So often all it takes for me to snap out of a mood or a rut is someone around me to smile or laugh and I feel my disposition lift right along with theirs. I know life is not always sunshine and rainbows, but there is always something to smile about in each day. Even just waking up in the morning!
I lost my grandfather about 2 weeks ago. My heart has been hurting ever since I got the news. And it will continue to hurt for a while. But this meditation helped me feel a little bit of happy warmth inside. It was more a calming rather than happy smile. I’m looking forward to making that grow.
Physically smiling does have an effect on the rest of your being.
I can’t take this too seriously but thanks anyway. Apparently I have to write some more for this to be allowed so here it goes...
Shiny and happy
It feels like I'm glowing inside out. Amazing! The state of happiness and rejoice is full charged in my soul.
Smiling to your heart and your body, can uplift your body, it is a better feeling for self control instead of someone making you smile
Sometimes, a lot of the time actually, the are more frowns than smiles. But as I was doing the meditation, I realized the certain things that do or don’t make me smile, and that I need to be spending more time around the positives, instead of fixating on the negative dark things
bless the children
for they will not last
teach them discipline
so that may thrive when you are gone
pay attention to what is important
so that know they matter
support them when they fail
so that they will know success
demonstrate acts of random kindness
so that they may know the joy of serving others
fill thier hearts with laughter
read good books together
lead by example
do good work
Taking a moment.
It’s just incredible that within 3 minutes my shoulders will drop from my ears with ease and I’ll open my eyes completely calm and complacent.
Smiling for yourself is invigorating, it lifts you up. You don’t smile for yourself that often or at all, but it should change to a regular habit.
Smiles are so good for your soul & will do wonders for yourself & everyone around you
Wow smiling does make a difference! And I like the balloon metaphor
When you smile, anywhere, it forms a pocket so that you may deposit positivity and raise your vibration.
Gott að brosa aður en maður fer uti daginn.
Ekki biða eftir að hlutirnir seu svona og svona eða eftir að þu komir heim eða eftir að þu klarir namið eða hittir Eika eða vikan se buin og fyrstu vinnuarin seu buin og allt settled, njota þess a meðan er þvi lifið er of stutt og liður fljott, þyrfti að vera 20 arum lengra.
Smiling truly enhances your mood. It sometimes makes others smile as well. I’m learning to keep a smile on my face 😊
I’m feeling a bit uneasy this morning, but I’m going to make the decision to not let it impact my day. Today I choose to find joy in the little things!
That i don’t smile often and it feels good and a bit different in my face but it feels good in my soul n in my mind
Pain when I turn my head to the left.
A spreading hot sensation across the back side of my head. I finished three minutes of neck yoga with range of motion a nine, and pain level 1-2
I smile a lot.... however, I now realize it actually makes me feel happier by just smiling.... even if it’s not related to an actual event, joke or person.
I couldn’t help but to smile, my whole body was warm.
Letting go and relaxing can help your mood and make you smile not only on your face but your whole body.
I felt my body relaxing and i felt a smile developing while listening to this.
I felt comfortable and relaxed and all of my thoughts going away
To listen to this more often when stressed and it’s helps a lot when needed and it’s me sleep to because I’m so stress
Mindful Day #1
March 7th 2018
Today I learned that if I take the time to relax each day, I can have s moment of silence to myself in a quiet environment where I can clear my mind, I need to do this more often!
A new day
And what a great day it is- one worthy of greeting with a full bodied smile. Namaste
I learned that your body can’t always be working. Your body needs a minutes or two to relax and to calm down. I learned that if I take a few minutes to sit down and just breathe it will help me feel more like myself
I felt kinda relaxed and happy. I let go of a lot . I learned what a smile really feels like
Janeen (The rising goddess)
I’m getting ready for a fun day out with my son and I feel extremely happy and I cannot stop smiling.
I learned that many things can happen now but if you choose to look at the good things your outcome will be good
I felt relieved and calmed by the audio today. It helped me to soothe myself
I learned that a smile is within every breath. I felt more at peace with my surroundings and environment. The quote given today was very inspirational and I will be sure to use it and keep it in mind
I always felt victim to the flight or fight or freeze response
But this audio meditation helped me to remember to smile & envision my happy place so my actions and thoughts come from a positive place.
Sometimes all you need is a good smile to pull you out of a funk.
If I can remember to do only two things often in day to day life they will be: 1. Be aware of breathing; and 2. Smile! Dear god! Help me remember.
I read that forcing yourself to smile can turn your mood around when I was younger and first dealing with depression. This meditation had the same message. I need to stay positive as I prepare for spinal surgery Monday.
Definitely needed this meditation this morning. Depression is a difficult thing, and finding a smile through it helps so much. I wish the voice was louder in the recording, but the instruction was great.
Squeeze one in
Thried to make certain that I got at least my morning Aura session in before heading out to my daughter’s LEGO robotics qualifying tournament today, but while listening, my phone was inundated with text messages from the other coach and team parents, as the Jr. High venue has been double-booked by the school district! What an utter mess this could be!😳
I learned that I can laugh out loud even by myself! Sitting in my house by myself can be sometimes lonely. I have realized that I’m ok and it’s up to me to be happy!
I could not hear the instructor over the waterfall and the chirping bird. The rest was mumbling 😐
Something about smiling. Now need to meditate to loosen up the tension in my body. Because the mumbling was frustrating
The smallest of smiles
I noticed that when I smiled I felt little bits of tension go from me, even with the smallest of smiles. Smiling just starts the day right and I enjoyed how it made me feel. It has me feel ready for the day ahead :)
I love this meditation.
“Smile though your heart is aching...”
Good intention, Low speaker
Background sounds are beautiful , but are in the foreground. Good from what I could hear- worth a re-mix. Namaste
I’ve learned that being friendly and smiling at people you know or don’t know goes a long way; you never know if the person you are smiling at is having a bad day or not so giving them a smile will always brighten everyone’s day. Just be nice to people
Voice too quiet
The speaker’s voice is barely audible in this meditation. The background music is too loud.
