Sleep & The Un-Manifested Self -Austria
Nature Enthusiast & Meditation Teacher
Sleep is rhythmic. It does not dance to the same beat as the rhythm that our modern lives often set.
In fact, spending time in nature helps us tune into the beat of the world and synchronize our pulse with the cosmic heartbeat. And sleep itself also leads to synchronization with the world.
If we have not learned to recognize sleep for the lush nature that it is.
There is a tendency to reduce it and distance ourselves from it and over-medicalize it to the point where our sense of its personal efficacy is eroded, and we can easily miss its spiritual side and deeper wisdom.
There is a spiritual dimension to sleep that we can explore, which holds new perspectives for us.
