This was an awesome meditation to begin my day!
After the mindfulness bell rang, I began to become aware of my breathing. Each time my mind began to wander, I came back to my breath.
I began to think of how I wanted to feel today. By thinking of how I wanted to feel, I set my intention that closely intertwined with how I wanted to feel.
As I took a deep breath in, I felt cheerfulness pump into my heart space. By feeling cheerful, positivity began to spread throughout my body. As I exhaled, I let go of the one thing that would get in the way of my intention namely, negativity.
By setting our intentions for the day ahead, we can consciously choose our filters rather than having them happen automatically! As Hannah said, “Knowing whatever we look for, we see more of”. Therefore, I will look for positivity in everything, in everyone and choose to see positivity as I go about my day!
