(Guided by WITHIN Cofounder Hannah Knapp) Practicing being grateful for the little things is one of the most powerful ways to shift your mindset about your life. There are many ways to practice gratitude; here's one that's particularly useful when you're winding down from the day. I'll guide you through bringing awareness to your body, and appreciating all that it does for you. In the longer version of this meditation, I'll move more slowly through your body, giving you more time and guidance to appreciate different parts of yourself.

It is so easy to focus only on the parts of the body that are giving me grief. Thanks for reminding me to be grateful for all of myself. Refocusing actually helps me relax and offers relief from pain. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Gratitude
Although I typically like most gratitude meditations and find great value in simple meditations, this one wonโ€™t be added to my favorite list. However, this would have been perfect when I used to teach mindfulness to elementary students. If you have young children, this might be just the meditation for them, although I found the ending bell disturbingly jarring.

I really enjoyed this.
Sometimes we do need a reminder to be grateful for our limbs, senses, etc. Itโ€™s easy to forget that we arenโ€™t entitled to these things and there could come a time when we donโ€™t have them.

Grateful to be present
I am particularly grateful for this meditation today ๐Ÿ•‰๐Ÿ’Ÿ. I recently experienced the devastating loss of my son, and have felt like Iโ€™m in a constant haze and couldnโ€™t begin to think about being present. This meditation allowed me to settle in to my body today and become present and aware. I am so grateful.

Once I became grateful for all that my body does for me, I started focussing on everything in my life Iโ€™m grateful for. All of the small moments from the previous day that were special and gave me joy. This meditation really helped me focus on gratefulness and joy

It was nice to give gratitude to my different body parts. I haven't included them in specific terms when I practice gratitude. I realized it when she got to the lungs. Breathing, of course! I need to include what I've learned here.
