Positivity / Rocks in a jar
I noticed it’s hard to stay focused on the breath and not the overwhelming to do list in my head. The negative emotions around that, feeling tired even before getting started. Then focusing on letting those thought go, at least for a minute. Training my brain to be an observer.
I loved the story I listened to about the rocks in a jar last night. It made such sense. Your family, friends, and heath are the most important. That should fill your jar first. Then the pebbles are work, and other things of importance. Last is the sand. The small stuff. Only in that order can you fill a jar. Do it the opposite and it won’t get filled. You won’t be fulfilled.
