Pain (either physical or emotional) & suffering are not the same thing. Pain is the raw sensation in the body, while suffering arises from how we react to that sensation. In this talk, we’ll explore how to gently separate pain from suffering by softening, relaxing & allowing the body’s natural processes to unfold. Through somatic awareness, energetic understanding & a simple guided exercise, we’ll learn how to let energy move through us, rather than hold it down and let it build up as tension, anxiety, or emotional struggle. This is not about pushing pain away, but about cultivating presence & openness so that pain becomes more bearable and life is lived with greater peace.
