Because it is so common to get distracted when we start a mindfulness practice, it can be beneficial to use a way to note & count the breath as a stabilizing support. See if this practice invites more ease to your body and mind.

Wandering off
I think wandering off is more like astral clairvoyance than it is to wander pointlessly. Because when you meditate you raise the energy levels in your spiritual battery’s. So the mind begins to clairvoyant.

Can't Focus
As hard as I tried to be calm and at one with my breathing, I feel my anxiety is taking over. I almost felt like I couldn't breathe at times and my thoughts seem to consume me.

Sequence your spiritual and physical brains.
Once you’ve completed comfortable counting of 340 to 600 breaths. Try to find a comfort zone in a dark and quiet environment.then hold your breath after roughly 532 breaths if you can get all the way up there. And think of a place that you actually seen before or think about a person you want to reach out to. And you.shall go there. As a astral clarification thought which will manifest it self to the person your thinking about as a thought. And the person might actually think it then think about you. If it’s a person your thinking about. Or you might go to a place by leaving you pineal gland that is basically an eye looking up from the center of your brain.

I like the idea of counting because it forces you to take that time for breathe. I would definitely use this technique when I’m feeling anxious.

Numbers
Life is a number to a lot of people. From birth to death we number our years, childhood, teens, adults. When you are a certain age you can drink, vote and have sex. But what if the number doesn’t matter, what if we are born with such knowledge but lose it when our world imposes the restrictions of perception in this reality. Counting your breaths let’s us focus, what if we could deduce the substance between the breaths ... know that it’s not the number of breaths but the quality. Make them count not in numbers but in actions.

Healthy Distraction
Focusing on your breath is a great way to clear your head and avoid over worrying about your to-do list and anxieties. I hope to consciously breath more often throughout the day.

Tranquilidad

Counting
The focus on counting helps me stay connected to my breath. It was beneficial to do the counting on my own as my breathing was timed differently than Dea.

It's so easy to forget the basics of mindfulness - breath and counting. It's surprising how easy it is to turn to breath and center myself.

Focus
Making silent notes, such as counting when exhaling then inhaling, it gives something to focus on which helps to be presently concentrated.

Not a favorite
I found this difficult to get into the rhythm of breathing using the teachers count. I was actually getting a little short of breath. I think it’s a good practice, but I will have to determine my own count and rhythm in order for it to be effective. 🙏🌷

In ... 1
I really got focused in this meditation. It made me smile because I was exhaling as she was saying in and inhaling when she said the number. Kind of a reflection of how I have been feeling lately. A little ahead or behind. Funny that I am still comparing myself to the world around me, instead of just being in the world around me. Another great, insightful meditation.

Staying focused
Counting Breaths kept me focused on the in breath and counting on my exhale and that kept my mind away from negative thoughts. I’ll have to remember this one for the next time my mind goes astray. Thanks 🙏 Dea!
