Story of a little boy who had enough of life and wants to leave home. But what happens after he leaves? Enjoy listening to the story.

Today's meditation
I learned that deep breaths help you calm down and slow music helps you to refocus

Very helpful!
My mind lives inside my body. It will always come back if it should wander.

Unexpected 💡
I didn’t expect the creative way Nitima used this story as a metaphor to point out an important awareness. The connection made a lightbulb turn on for me.💡🙏🌺

Wandering is part of the process.
I had to giggle a little as she said this (I paraphrased). But it’s so true. We “try” so hard to control so many things. And some things are not to be controlled. Sometimes (frequently) the true lesson is in learning to Let Go.

Mummy I’m leaving home
This was a very cute, emotional story to listen to, it’s something we all have gone through.

Reminded me of childhood!
I recall the night I ran away from home. Packed quietly, ”snuck” out the bedroom window...walked to my grandparent's house across town, climbed over the wall, slept on a chaise lounge by the pool...weird night. I don't even recall the reason I left now! But I do recall doing it!🤣

I liked this story as I think many of us can relate to it. I would sooner return to someone I felt I could be myself with than to someone who I felt tried to control me. No likes to be trapped in a cage. We are creatures meant to be free.

Remembering...
This story reminded me of when I was very young (3 or 4) and I was shopping with my mom in the grocery store. I wanted a Certain cereal, I had probably seen a commercial for it on TV, and she said no. I whined for it and she said No! I fussed and layed on the floor and threw a temper tantrum and she simply walked away... I came to my senses and found myself all alone. I immediately stopped fussing , finally found my mom and stayed quietly by her side for the rest of our outing together . Thank you Nitima for reminding us how important good parenting can be!! ❤️😢🍀

I'm leaving
Well love and life is not about control. When we try to control things, people, our environment or our mind - it never works. Just let it go and things will work out.

I’m leaving
I can’t leave. Even when I want to. My mind only has this one body

I'm Leaving
Remember that your mind only has your body to live in! Make your body a comfortable place for your mind to be. Let go

Leaving
I learned that keeping a loving and free connection to your mind and the people you love will always make sure that when things don’t always go as planned, happiness will arise again.

Leaving home
Make your body a comfortable and healthy place to be. When meditating give your mind the freedom it needs; don’t get angry and don’t try to control it. Welcome it back to a comfortable and tranquil body.

Keep as good
Positive mindset in the midst of big change shouldn't be tough, especially when changing in a way that new doors and paths open for us!
