Because the mind and body are intimately connected, paying attention to physical sensations helps bring mind and body together while promoting greater relaxation and decreased stress.

Mindfulness of sensations.
Focusing on each sensation in turn surprised me by how many sensations came and went, the tension in my head seem to undo and the feeling of cold moved from my feet to my hands. Nice!!

Mindfulness of Sensations
Sensations are occurring all the time with some getting more of my attention. It was interesting to learn that most of the time these sensations faded as others may or may not enter my consciousness. Oh how complex our bodies are...

Realizing where I hold tension
This meditation was helpful in remind omg my not to hold tension in my shoulders and jaw. And to be conscious of whether I’m breathing comfortably. Very helpful for me as I am a generally anxious person. I will try and be aware of sensations in my body throughout the day.

How long your meditation is?
How long and why you chose for it to be that long, is the key that shows you know how much meditation you need to be doing depending on your wellbeing of mind and body. Simple but yet insightful. Don’t you agree?

Anxiety comes and goes, just like the sensations throughout my physical body. I should spend more time watching my anxiety than letting it control my life.
