There are countless thoughts in our mind, we find ourselves believing in the stories that we tell ourselves effecting our decisions and choices. With this meditation you will learn to manage your thoughts, they are like clouds in the sky coming and going. Let the sun shine through.

Managing thoughts
I learned to let them come, let them go. Easier said then done but becoming aware of that makes it a bit easier.

Managing your thoughts
While meditating I did just that. Let the thoughts float away like clouds. Breathing in and breath out with positive affirmations instead.

Riding ...
I was actually a blank slate until she said the word “cloud” and I immediately was riding on top of a big, white fluffy one floating high in the sky. I was able to see many other ones around me. It felt like I knew they all had names but I was able to Not focus on them and just let them be. I could see the horizon in all directions (because I observed all the clouds had flat tops) and I did notice the sun was shining. No birds, no planes, no sounds. Everything was serene and calm with just enough breeze to keep us moving slowly across the sky... I guess I also noticed she had a lovely voice with a very pleasant accent towards the end. Very relaxing!! And I feel recharged 😎☮️

I learned that it’s normal to have thoughts good or bad. It’s ok to acknowledge these bad thoughts like clouds passing and to let them go.

They Are Just Thoughts
Thoughts are like clouds. They come and they go. But we choose to hold on to these thoughts. We need to let them go.

If I'm not...
Paying attention to the thoughts passing trough my mind, and even acting upon them on occasion, WHY HAVE THEM?!? Don't these thoughts make me who I am?!?

Pushing Away
I noticed that pushing away a thought or expecting it to leave makes the thought stronger and more persistent. These thoughts require attention.

Day 11
I overthink 110% of the time and even justify that it helps me work through my thoughts. Sitting on them, holding them, processing them. It doesn’t help. What’s helped me is acknowledging that I might have a bad or good one. Identifying that whatever I’m worried of will pass. It always does. I’m always worried of the what if and how will I handle this.. but I always handle it in some way.

I am not my thoughts
This meditation helped me realise that I was accepting thoughts as facts without even being aware of it, and letting it negatively affect my mood. I was able to see the thoughts for what they are, just thoughts.

Over-thinking
Our thoughts are like clouds. They come and go. They float on by. All we need to do is be aware that these are just thoughts in our mind. No need to dwell over them, or think too much that we create our own unpleasant stories from these unpleasant thoughts. They’re simply just thoughts.

Clouds
Just like clouds drift by, my thoughts drift by, clearing the way for new thoughts. Actually, I feel it is very important to pay attention to my thoughts because depressing thoughts can sabotage my day before it has even begun. Often I find myself thinking I'm really tired when I first get out of bed and then I realize, no I'm not, I'm just waking up. Or dreading my workday and it hasn't even begun. Then looking back at the end of my workday and thinking it was a really nice day. So I find it is really important to think good thoughts and create my joy from within.

Thoughts
I love comparing thoughts to clouds! Most are beautiful, fluffy wisps that drift by! Some clouds are denser, but they still drift by! And the really bothersome, dense storm clouds which occasionally burst, still float away! Nothing is permanent! Let it go...

Sobbing
Today I had to tell my stepson that his father has moved out all his stuff and he won’t be back to his home for the last 4 years. My heart is breaking because there is nothing I can do and no matter how much I love him I cannot keep him safe and happy. I feel I have let him down - parents are supposed to protect their kids - not let them be in pain. I cannot stop crying.

Stresses
With this meditation it said to name three things I appreciate about myself but, I could not think of anything which caused me to be stressed and anxious. Thinking, maybe I don’t have any good qualities.

Stay mindful
Your mind will constantly throw thoughts at you. Simply learn how to notice them and move on from them whether they be about an incident in the past or a worry for the future they are just thoughts and it’s a matter of how you react to them.

I felt calmer
I felt that I could focus on my breath and felt as though I was able to calm my mind. I feel the only tension I currently notice is my my. It seems as if my breathing still feels shallow and that I have to fully work my chest to get a deeper breath. But my body and mind few a lot calmer than it was feeling. I am not my thought, and my thoughts are not me. My thoughts are just thoughts and they come and go like clouds

The water sounds with the meditation words softens the train of thought
I was more aware of the thoughts the visual nature somewhat like revisiting memories and now as I write this wondering why they came up. So there is a layered ness to this analyzing and thinking and analyzing. Even writing this feels a bit more if the same and however I can put it to words and set it down. The journaling here completes

My thoughts
I'm exploring more of your lessons on thoughts. It's comforting to hear you say that thoughts are just thoughts. Which simplifies it in my mind. Like clouds in the sky. For me, the hard part is letting them just be like all else. I've always pushed them aside and that usually works for the time being. But I see now that I must let them flow like all things. Or at least observe them. Recognize them. I never knew that. Blocking them or ignoring them isn't the answer. I have more work to do ahead of me than I ever imagined. I see now that it is a wonderful moment to moment process or mindfulness. A new way for me to exist. Thank you.

Managing your thoughts
My thought are not the realty, it's only me that are making them real and I shouldn't focuse on the bad ones except if I want to ruin my day
