Embark on a journey of compassion and kindness with this loving-kindness meditation. Find a comfortable posture, gently close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Begin by directing loving-kindness towards yourself, silently repeating phrases such as "May I be happy, may I be healthy, may I be safe, may I be at peace." Feel the warmth of these wishes enveloping you like a comforting embrace. Next, extend these wishes to someone you care about deeply, visualizing them surrounded by love and well-being. Then, gradually expand your circle of compassion to include acquaintances, strangers, and even those you may have difficulty with, wishing them all happiness and peace.
